Education
STOCKTON UNIVERSITY | GALLOWAY, NJ
● Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, May 2017
● 3.75 GPA

Relevant Coursework
● Environmental Pollution and Regulation | Fall 2016
Gained knowledge about how the most common forms of pollutants are released and transported in the environment. Able to articulate
how the various environmental laws (Clean Water and Clean Air Acts, SDWA, CERCLA, RCRA, HSWA, TSCA and SARA) are used to
control both the release and cleanup of pollutants at various sites. The class focused on air, water and soil pollution. In addition, there
were hands-on exercises and case studies dealing with sources of different pollutants, their residence time in the media of interest, and
potential ecosystem and human health impacts.

● Watershed Hydrology | Fall 2016

Developed a fundamental understanding of the hydrologic cycle, including how climate, soils, vegetation, and land use affect the amount,
timing, and quality of water. Became familiar with methods used to quantitatively measure or estimate the magnitude of hydrologic
variables, including developing familiarity with techniques used to measure precipitation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, and
streamflow. Applied fundamentals of the hydrologic cycle to watershed management problems and evaluated watershed management
principles in relation to other resource management objectives.

● Soil Science | Spring 2017

Experience with identifying soil profiles, soil texture and color. Utilized laboratory and field sampling procedures to conduct multiple
soil analyses such as; particle size analysis, bulk density (clod and core method), Atterberg limits and proctor tests as well as their
calculations. I also became familiar with analyzing scholarly journals and constructing lab reports.

● Groundwater Hydrology | Spring 2017

Acquired an understanding of the role groundwater has in the hydrologic cycle. Became familiar with the properties of aquifers.
Learned the principles of groundwater flow, on both local and regional scales. Quantified groundwater recharge and understood
groundwater management. Applied knowledge of groundwater to the field and modeling techniques.

Professional Experience
PHASE ASSOCIATES | LIVINGSTON, NJ
● 2017– present
● Constructed a report for Bayer in regards to general industry OSHA standards for Crystalline Silica Dust.
● Created a summary report for the Kopper’s Coke Remediation Site, including self-made graphs and interpreted data results.
● Obtained technical writing skills and became a technical writer who was in charge of completing Readiness Center (RC) reports.
● Became familiar with New Jersey.gov and was able input information into the databases.
● Worked on Trenton Housing Authority “Right to Know Surveys.” Collected and researched Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous
chemicals. Organized multiple binders with proper SDS files, surveys, and labels for the point of contact. Became familiar with New
Jersey.gov and learned how to input substances and their ingredients to the proper locations in Trenton.
● Versed on charcoal Radon test procedure.
● Have experience with Respirator FIT Testing.
● Work on confidential Government projects.
CHESTER TOWNSHIP ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION | CHESTER, NJ
● Commission member, 2014 – present
● Hand selected by the Environmental Commission, and was the youngest member.
● Participated in monthly meetings and voted on annual budget and regulations of commission run entities.
● I was instrumental in getting the commission more involved with the community (community garden, “green” workshops in the
town’s school system, and stream cleanups).
● As the judge and awards presenter for the Chester science fair, I designed the format and criteria for the environmental projects.

STEM AND YOUNG SCIENCE ACHIEVERS PROGRAM (YSAP) | BRIDGEWATER, NJ

● 2013-present
● Assisted in running and designing regular meetings.
● Designed the YSAP website using WordPress.
● Coordinated the students’ projects, group tours and overseeing all activities with the YSAP team at the award and presentation of
inventions at AT&T Research Lab in Bedminster, NJ, sponsored by Princeton University and Lucent Technology.
● Traveled to Cuba to attend YSAP conferences, gave presentations on the curriculum and previous STEM/YSAP inventions.

Field Experience
● Stream gauged Morse’s Mill at Stockton University, using the velocity area method and streamflow gauging equipment.
● In-situ water quality monitoring experience (Nacote Creek, NJ) using an in-situ multi-element probe, and interpreting the data in
Excel.
● Used GrayWolf’s modular WolfPack Area Monitor to test the quality of the air for VOCs, CO, H2S and NO2 for a project in my
Environmental Pollution and Regulation class.
● Worked with the Mayor of Bridgeton, Albert Kelly. Collected water samples from Sunset Lake in Bridgeton, NJ, and tested for
phosphates and nitrates using a multi-parameter colorimeter. Worked alongside the mayor of Bridgeton and my Environmental
Issues class. We were also covered in the news and on television.
● Gathered water samples from Morse’s Mill stream and Cedick Run at Stockton University. Performed water quality testing on the
water samples (nitrates, phosphates, total suspended solids). Additionally, I learned how to use an ISCO autosampler and create a
professional poster that was displayed at the Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NAMS) conference at Stockton University, NJ.

Skills and Abilities

● ArcGIS Map: land use projects, mappings of areas of interest, watershed mappings, aquifer mappings.
● Microsoft Excel: Interpreting data, creating graphical representations of data, statistical analysis, groundwater calculations.
● Calculate statistical tests by hand and using Statistical Analysis System (SAS).
● Able to construct a water budget.
● Understand how to interpret and compose a hydrograph.
● Efficient with calculating groundwater flow parameters in multiple different scenarios.
● Able to perform tests and samplings on wells.
● Familiar with: bailing, surveying equipment, soil and wetland delineations and identifying geological formations.
