Kolkata with a consolidated gross sales turnover of more than Rs.5300crs, having its
operations spread across India, Nepal, Poland & Russia. The company is into the
business of manufacturing & selling variety of paints &specialty coatings, primarily
through its four major business line operations of - Decorative Paints (Retail),
Automotive & General Industries Paints, Protective Coatings & Powder Coatings.
We wish to invite the current final year batch of management students of your
esteemed institution having their specialization only in Sales & Marketing stream for
positions in our Non-Management front line sales cadre as Sales Officer Trainee (SOT) in
Decorative Paints Division.
We look forward to students with consistent academic background, having the desire to
kick-start & excel their working career in Channel Sales.
As part of our requirement for the position, the following eligibility criteria are set for
the students, in order to help them participate in our Virtual Campus Recruitment
Program:
a) Decorative Paints (Retail) - Should possess minimum academic qualification as
Graduate in Science / Commerce /Management / Engineering only, before pursuing
their MBA program. However, students with graduation in Engineering having
Information Technology /Telecommunication specializations shall not apply
as they will not be considered for this division.
b) Should have scored at least 55% marks all throughout the academic
career.
c) Should preferably have command over at least one regional Indian language; apart
from fluency in English & Hindi.
e) Should possess a two wheeler driving license. (Mandatory requirement, else will be
rejected)

to male candidates only.
b) Thereafter interested students shall have to enroll their names with their
respective Placement Coordinators of institution who based on the eligibility criteria
advise individual students to directly register their names by filling up the online

e) The Candidates scoring over and above a fixed cutoff mark in On-line Assessment
Test shall be requested to appear for the initial round of Group Discussion & Personal
Interview tentatively between 21th - 30th November 2017 at venues likely to be
either in the State Capitals or important regional metro city nearest to your campus,
which will be communicated by us. All candidates shall have to reach the interview
venue for a day at their own expense.
f) The final round of Personal Interview shall however be conducted thru Video
Conferencing mode with our Corporate Team, Kolkata tentatively between 12th -
15th December 2017. Necessary coordination& the exact details of the same shall be
informed accordingly in due time and formal announcement of the selected students
shall be made thereafter.
g) Issuance of the Formal Offers shall be rolled out within one month of final selection
with dispatches addressed to the Placement Coordinators of the respective
institutions.
The students who are appointed for the position of Sales Officer Trainees shall be on-
boarding in batches starting from 2nd May 2018 in our company and shall have to
undergo training for a period of One Year. The initial compensation being offered is
CTC of approx. Rs. 5.50 lacs per annum. Post training, the Trainees will be
confirmed as Senior Sales Officer with clearly defined responsibilities. The next career
level progression will be of Sales Supervisor and finally into management grade as Sales
Executive, which may take an approx. time frame of 3-4 years based on individual
performance.
