An enthusiastic, energetic and hardworking student who has successfully and consistent track
of records achieving best in my institutions possessing knowledge from my education
background as a food scientist .Focused on any task at hand and able to utilize existing test
knowledge and experience to come up with practical solutions and alternatives to testing
processes . I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to relate to a
wide range of people.

CAREER OBJECTIVE

To be an element of hard work and commitment geared towards performance of an

organizational goals,objectives and promoting teamwork with my colleagues to create a
harmonious working staff.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Food processing trainee- February 2016-April 2016

I undertook my internal attachment at Dedan Kimathi University, for two months. I

was able to formulate and develop high quality and wholesome food products, for example;
Dairy technology ( maziwa mala, cheese ,yogurt, butter),Fruits and vegetable technology (mango
juice concentrate, jam ,jellies ,marmalade and pickles) ,Meat technology (pig sausages ,cured
meat ) and Bakery technology (bread ,cookies ,cakes and rice cakes).

I inspected raw ingredients for processing stability or maturity, and checked finished products to
verify quality, nutritional value, and safety.

I studied current methods for improving specific aspects of food, such as flavor, nutritional
value, color, texture, convenience, and chemical composition..

Evaluate food storage and processing operations and develop new quality assurance programs as
needed to improve such operations.

Carried out laboratory analysis to the products adhere with Quality Management Systems, GMP,
HACCP and environmental, Health and policies.

ACHIEVEMENT

2. Training.

● In 2013 I attended Tuberculosis training at ST.Joseph Health Care which enabled me to

understand factors that causes TB within our surroundings and precautions taken to treat and
prevent spread of the epidemic. I was able to harmonize other students to be in forefront to
educate the society about the disease and how to prevent the spread of the in the society.
●In 2017 I successful completed JOBHACK Entrepreneurship Challenge online course that
equipped me with skills like lean startup principles, graphic design, minimum viable product
development, customer acquisition and pitching. I was awarded certificate of completion.

In 2017 I successful completed AJIRA DIGITAL TRAINING held at Kenyatta University that
equipped me with knowledge and digital skills on online work, working smart, career
development. . I was awarded certificate of completion

2. Academic position

● In 2014 I served as assistant secretary for all clubs and society and acting secretary for
laboratory services at St. Joseph High School.

● In 2016 I attained an academic certificate in food science and technology for being second
position in completed year 2015/2016.
