Aim – Import videos and screenshot process

Learnt – I imported my videos onto Premiere.
Evidence – Below
Date – 15/01/18

1. I opened a new project in Adobe Premiere and I made sure that the capture format was DV. I gave the
document a name and I pressed OK.

2. I went to File and Import to import my videos.

3. The videos were stored in the Project

window.
4. I went to File and Save.

Aim – Import reshot video

Learnt – I imported the reshot video on Premiere.
Evidence – Below

Date – 16/01/18

5. I went to Import and I selected the video

I reshot. The reason why I had to reshoot
is because the original first video I
uploaded was a portrait video when it
needed to be a landscape video. I reshot
the video but in landscape to match the
other videos. I then went to File and
Save.

Aim – Crop down clips and take screenshots.

Learnt – I cropped down the clips and I
created a background in Photoshop for the
end of the advert.
Evidence – Below
Date – 17/01/18

6. I first dragged the first

video clip onto the
Source Monitor.

7. I clicked on Mark In to decide where I wanted to start cropping the video and when
I placed the blue Play head where I wanted it to go, the preview bar turned grey.
8. I clicked on Mark Out
to decide where I
wanted to stop.

9. I dragged the cropped

video from the
Source Monitor
into the Timeline.

10. I dragged
the second
video clip
onto the
Source
Monitor,
cropped it
and dragged
it onto the
Timeline.
11. I dragged the
third video clip
onto the Source
Monitor,
cropped it and
dragged it onto
the Timeline.

12. I dragged the fourth video

clip onto the Source
Monitor, cropped it and
dragged it onto the
Timeline.
13. I dragged the fifth video
clip onto the Source
Monitor, cropped it and
dragged it onto the
Timeline.

14. I noticed that some parts of the video were cropped off so I double clicked on the Source Monitor
and the screen brought up Effects Controls on the other side of the screen. Underneath Effect
Controls, I clicked on Video Effects and Motion.
15. I created a new document on Photoshop.

16. I saved the background as a JPEG

image.

Aim – Add pictures with videos and

take screenshots.
Learnt – I finished the video and
screenshotted the evidence. I also learnt
how to give the assets effects, add text
and add and crop audio.

17. I imported more assets which included both sound and images. I then dragged them onto the timeline
18. I added another light effect and gave it a Cross
Zoom effect.

19. I added the Sunglasses and I duplicated them and

cropped them down so the Sunglasses would follow
me for part of the video.

20. I placed the Sunglasses over some Objects in the video.

21. I added the background onto the

timeline.
22. I cropped down the music and
placed it on the timeline.

23. I had to crop the sound again on the timeline so that

it would fit with the videos.
24. After I sorted out the music, I added some
text for the end.

25. This was the final result. I

then saved the project.
