1. PURPOSE :

The purpose of this OIT is to inform operators of the approval of the following
documents :

- A330 MRBR revision 11, dated June 2008


- A340 MRBR revision 11, dated June 2008

The A330 & A340 MRBRs were approved in December 2008 by EASA, FAA and Transport
Canada.

2. REASON
The 3 principal reasons for the MRBR revision are:

‰ The MPD is an AIRBUS envelope repository document which provides


direct access to most of the repetitive maintenance tasks required by
miscellaneous source documents.

‰ The main objective of this document is to provide maintenance planning


information necessary for each operator to develop a customized
scheduled maintenance program.

‰ The MPD is neither a CONTROLLING document nor an APPROVED


document.

The MPD is an envelope document valid for all A/C of a given type.
It is not customized to any specific operator or fleet.
