Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) equipment

1. Locations and model types of the Air Conditioning and Mechanical

Ventilation (ACMV) equipment have been indicated clearly on the submitted
plans. New Condensing Units (CUs)/Variable Refrigerant Volume Systems
(VRVs)/Cooling Towers (CTs) /Chillers/Generator are shown in blue. New
Exhaust Air Fans (EAFs)/Fresh Air Fans (FAFs) and their direction flows are
shown in magenta and green respectively. All existing and deleted equipment
has been indicated in cyan and yellow respectively.

2. Setback distances and direction flows from the CUs/VRVs/EAFs/FAFs/

CTs/chillers/ACMV equipment to the nearest boundary line(s) of the
development are indicated clearly on the submitted plans.

3. The CUs/VRVs/EAFs/FAFs/CTs/chillers/ACMV equipment provided

are not facing neighbouring premises directly. If the ACMV systems
are facing surrounding developments directly, mitigating measures
(i.e. screens) have been installed for these equipment to minimise
any potential disamenities to the neighbours.

4. The information provided (e.g. noise measurement locations, type of

noise meter, extrapolation distances etc.) in the submission are in line
with the requirements stated in the Guideline on Boundary Noise Limits
for Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Systems in Non-industrial
Buildings.
5. The measurement readings recorded in the submitted noise report are
able to comply with the limits stated in the Guidelines.

6. Specifications and photographs of the CUs/VRVs/EAFs

/FAFs/CTs/chillers/ACMV equipment have been provided in the submission.
7. A Type 1 noise meter was used for the measurement and
the calibration certificate has been submitted.

Road/Rail Traffic Noise

1. A Noise Impact Assessment (NIA) study has been Yes N/A

submitted for residential/noise-sensitive developments
located within 70m from aboveground or at-grade Category 1
and 2 roads, MRT tracks and stations to demonstrate that with
appropriate mitigation measures, the facade and indoor noise
levels (Leq 1hr) of the proposed development is able to comply
with 67 dBA and 57 dBA respectively under naturally
ventilated conditions (with windows and sliding doors opened).

2. For residential buildings/noise-sensitive premises Yes N/A

(such as old age homes and schools etc.) located beside
aboveground or at-grade MRT tracks/stations, the
development is situated at least 35m (if front-facing) or
25m (if end-wall facing) from the MRT tracks/stations.
