Professional experience
2017: Currently Trainee Researcher ETAP (Tunisian National Oil Company)
An advanced Seismic study with the exploration department of ETAP Company, the project is
a part of MSc qualification program; Integrated modelling of Miocene deposits in the golf
of Hammamet insights from 3d seismic and well log interpretation. The main steps that
have been performed are:
- Reviewing the geological setting of the depositional and tectonic history of
Hammamet Golf Basin.
- Data quality control and generation of missing log using some empirical equation.
- Volumetric assessment of clays and saturation from the available data.
- well log interpretation, sequences based cross plots identification.
VSP and 3d seismic to well tie
- Structural seismic attribute interpretation includes also mapping works
- 3D seismic inversion ‘model base inversion with facies classification control. (CGG
HR)
- Enhancement of structural and sequential model, seismic inversion spatial facies
middle Miocene carbonate distribution (Birsa reservoir intra carbonate) .
2016: GIS mapping basics trainer for researcher
2016: Basic of seismic interpretation trainer for researcher
2015: Mapping project (annex)
2013: 4 months Trainee Reservoir Engineer ETAP (Tunisian National Oil Company)
Carrying out reservoir study within reservoir engineering department: 3D modelling and
simulation of multilayers reservoir on the southern of Tunisia. (Silurian Reservoirs). The main
steps that have been performed are:
- Building of geological model with a new petrophysical interpretation (laying,
properties model to statistical grid) lake of data and reservoir heterogeneities makes
a several uncertainties on reservoir properties.
- Evaluation of the STOOIP using probabilistic method.
- Well test interpretation in order to define pressure profile and reservoir behavior
(Saphir )
- Performing nodal analysis to get VFP tables and well model (prosper).
- Dynamic model initialization Pr, Sat, Scal, PVT all parameters are correlated with
the neighbor fields due to lake of data, all fields located in the same thermodynamic
domain.
- Performing history matching process.
- Field development plan, natural depletion with an Auto Gas lift.
II
Carrying out exploration study within exploration department: North of kairouan -
Enfidha petroleum potential evaluation, main work steps are performed:
- Region geology study (stratigraphy, correlation and reservoir petrophysics, basin
sedimentary).
- Petrochemical hydrocarbon study, check the main targets of petroleum system
characterizing area of study.
- Seismic interpretation with Geo-frame and subsurface mapping with CPS3
(converting time maps to depth map using velocity low) to get the shape of different
structure, main cretaceous traps.
- Correlation between tectonic events with hydrocarbon accumulation and analyzing
the effects of these faults on hydrocarbon preservation.
