Position : Electrical Site Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervision covering from 1st fix to 3rd fixes the following systems:
  Electrical systems (i.e.: MV Transformers & switch gear, ATS, generators, motors, lighting,
power, UPS, grounding & lightning protection networks)
 Low Current systems (i.e.: fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, CCTV, access
control, intercom & MATV)

 Checking the drawings and collect the necessary data required for the project execution
 Checking the all Electrical Work as per Approved shop drawing and Approved Work
Method Statement, Specification & MTR.
 Attend daily WIR, MIR
 Issuing the Site Instructions & NCR to Contractor if work done is not as per specification &
Method statement.
 Review Material specifications, list of manufacturers, available suppliers and general
specifications
 Directs and provide technical information to supervisors
 Perform the necessary inspections on the site in accordance to plans, specs, and quality
requirement
 Perform the quality assurance at site
 Liaising with the quality department for QC requirements
 Initiate preventive measures in coordination with senior engineers & contractor
 Prepares site progress and status reports
 Coordinate with other discipline engineers to resolve discrepancies
 Ensures that the materials used are approved ones and report any violations to senior
engineers
 Enforces safety & health regulation on site
 Solve conflicts on site and report them to seniors
 Report the daily site activities on site to seniors
 Conduct meetings with supervisors to distribute workloads and give assignments to them
 Liaising with QS for confirmation of work done
 Assures subcontractor adherence to drawings & quality requirements
 To solve the technical issues at site
 Attend weekly meeting with contractor and discuss related issues found on Site, resolving
the problems.
 Attending Site Quality Audit conducted by third party team to ensure quality standard at

 To calculate load schedule according to drawing.
 Submission of Shop drawings and other required documents for approval in DEWA as per
online system.
 Selection of Cables, MCBS, MCCBs, Isolators ratings.
 Get NOCs (Electrical and water) from local Authorities.
 Submit Electrical Drawing to DEWA for Approval
 Apply for final inspection to get Electricity from DEWA.
