Currently, the airline operates between 95 destinations, flying daily to cities across the
GCC, Middle East, North Africa, Indian Subcontinent, Asia and Central and Eastern
Europe, and has 55 B737NG aircraft in operation. Most recently, flydubai took delivery
of its first Boeing 737 MAX 8, making it the first carrier in the Middle East to operate
the type.
As a result, the airline continues to grow at a rapid pace and are seeking ambitious and
skilled pilots to join their dynamic and diverse
flydubai Captain Terms and Conditions:
Type of contract
Pilots will receive a permanent full-time contract
Start Date
Start dates will be ongoing for the duration of 2018
Base of Operations
This will be a full-time contract based in Dubai
Training Bond
For rated pilots, the amount of the Training Bond will be US$24,000 for 3 years.
For non- rated pilots, the amount of the Training Bond will be US$36,000 for 3
years.
You will be contractually tied to flydubai for a period of 36 months. This amount is
pro-rated, and it needs to be paid in case of finishing the contract earlier.
Annual Leave
Pilots will receive 42 days paid annual leave plus a flight ticket home.

Minimum Requirements
- Date of last flight within the last 24 months
- Age 60 or under at time of application
- ICAO/FAA/JAA/EASA ATPL license types accepted
- Valid Class 1 Medical
- ICAO ELP 4 minimum
- Eligible for UAE residency visa
- High school diploma is essential
- University degree is preferable
- International aviation experience is preferable
Non-rated Captain:
- 5,000 hours total flying time
- 1,500 pilot in command (PIC) hours on modern (EFIS) multi-engine jet aircraft
in excess of 55 tonnes
OR
- 6,000 hours total flying time
- 1,500 pilot in command (PIC) hours on modern (EFIS) multi-crew, multi-
engine jet aircraft in excess of 50 tonnes
Pilot application’s will then be reviewed by flydubai and pilots will be contacted directly and
asked to complete an online questionnaire and video interview.
If pilots are successful through the online screening, they will then be invited to one of the
many assessment days.
If invited to assessment, flydubai will provide flights on their network and hotel
accommodation to attend assessment in Dubai. If pilots need to use a different airline, they
may be refunded up to AED3,000 for flight tickets and accommodation expenses (must
provide receipts), if successful and receive a job offer you may. Flydubai can assist you with
