1. Preserving skin care treatments

1.1. Hyaluronic acid

chain hyaluronic acid forms a protective film on the skin, short-

1.2. Collagen
Besides hyaluronic acid, another important active ingredient that
effectively combats wrinkles is collagen - it is moisturising and
makes the skin more elastic and firmer. Our Dermafleece masks
contain highly concentrated collagen. The masks are both ac-
tive ingredients and active ingredient carriers. They optimise the
skin‘s hydration, have an anti-irritant and soothing effect and are
generally well-tolerated.
1.3. Peptides
Peptides are protein building blocks that promote the nat-
ural regeneration of the skin cells. The peptides used in
cosmetic products are synthetic copies. Peptides are a
messenger substance; this means that they tell the body
to start the skin‘s repair mechanism. JANSSEN COSMET-
ICS uses synthetically manufactured peptides that have
a clearly defined amino acid sequence and have been
proven to stimulate the collagen fibres in the connective

1.4. Vitamin A
Vitamin A or retinol is one of the most analysed anti-ageing
substances and also has a long history as a beauty treatment.
Numerous studies have confirmed its effectiveness. The latest
generation vitamin A is also tolerated much better. Vitamin A
stimulates the skin‘s natural regeneration, can reduce pigmenta-
tion spots and improves the complexion. In anti-ageing research,
retinol is considered a „standard“ active ingredient, which is why

1.5. Vitamin C
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is effective against skin ageing in
three ways. It offers protection against light exposure relat-
ed skin ageing, can reduce wrinkles and lighten pigmentation
spots. Both ascorbic acid as well as the more stable vitamin
C ester are used as active ingredients in cosmetics. The prod-

1.6. Vitamin E
Vitamin E or tocopherol is a fat-soluble vitamin that is found in
a particularly concentrated form in grain germ oils (e.g. wheat
germ and corn germ oil). Vitamin E protects plant oils and fats
from destruction through oxygen (oxidation). In cosmetics, vi-
tamin E is usually used in the form of its stable ester. Depend-
ing on the concentration used, vitamin E acetate protects the
skin against the negative impact of free radicals, moisturises it
and smoothens the complexion.
1.7. Fruit acids
Fruit acids, also called alpha hydroxy acids, are usually obtained
from sugar cane, citrus fruit, apples or sour milk. Due to its sim-
ilar effects, salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid, is also considered
a fruit acid. Initially, fruit acids were used only as a dermatological
treatment for acne patients, but they have long since become
an established ingredient in cosmetic anti-ageing products. With
