Part One:

Development of action Equation for leaders

Organization exist to serve the needs of individual in society and with the specific

objectives, it exerts huge efforts to meet the needs of individual in society. Therefore with the

visions of leaders, a stagnant organization moves upwards. The organizational values, culture

and objectives impact on managers and leaders to meet those defined objectives at any cost. It is

because of the cultural values that compel managers and leaders to expedite the efforts in order

to meet the objectives. Organizational objectives are defined at the outset but with the

collaboration of managers and leaders, these objectives are met in the competitive environment.

So it becomes mandatory for leaders and managers to keep those ethical values by encouraging

employees and by giving them necessary training and workshops about the workplace ethics

(Amos, T., Ristow, A., Pearse, N. 2009).

In the same way, leaders and managers become more concerned about the objectives to

be met in an appropriate time. Thus with the positive role of leaders and managers, organization

in the competitive environment can obtain its lost values and can bring the business of

organization to an unbeatable condition. It is the intuitive skills of leaders to bring the

organizational image in better ways in the eyes of world so that organization can gain more

credence from the employees and society.

Leadership is a method of getting control where one person renders his services for

supporting the other people as well as community for the developments of organizational growth

& achievement. Thus leadership style is a method and sold approach of providing and allying

various plans and presenting his mechanism of course of actions and directions which is

followed by employees and individuals (Amos, T., Ristow, A., Pearse, N. 2009).

It is just the because of the leadership skill which have been motivating to them for

keeping the longer stays in the organization. The employees at various organizations are not

only encouraged to play their effective role in solving the issues related to customers queries,

sales issues and operation complexities but also they are asked to present their suggestion for

overcoming the tedious and dangerous issues which can sometime stall the working activities of

the firms.

This element increases morale of the employees there which in return show strong

dedication and commitment towards organization. Even the leadership skills at both firms have

created the environment of trust and honestly with employees which motivates employees to

show their potential there (Amos, T., Ristow, A., Pearse, N. 2009).

Part Two:

Development of organizational conversational plan

The organizational objectives are thoroughly addressed and communicated to employees

who can make extra efforts for the achievement in due time. So a comprehensive source of

communication plan is developed that contains the level of the initiation of activities to be

introduced at all level where employees could gain the access and follow them. The

organizational core messages contain some motivational aspects for employees in the form of

some positive temptation for employees if they want to seek some monetary benefits, they

should show better performances by any means.

The organization introduces the following policy which can help to meet its communication for

the achievement of its overall goals:

 Message of the organization is more clear in term of understating the what is being stated

to employees

 Message contains the real and accurate picture of the objectives to be achieved by

employees

 The message of organization is more concise and clarity is found in the overall meaning

of the stated communication.

 Effective medium of communication is used for conveying to employees around the

organization.

 The leaders in the organization use the effective modes of communication which can help

them to address with the employees at all level of organization. Conveying the messages

of the organization for any kind of objectives, usually leaders show complete

commitment in getting employees understood about the possibility of achieving the

overall objectives for the organization (Durai, P. 2010).

Therefore organization defines its own modes of communication system for reaching

employees and conveying them about the possible strategies and policies of organization. The

basic purpose of using the various kinds of communication a workplaces is to aware employees

about the kinds of objectives that they are striving to achieve with their complete dedication and

commitment.

Thus with proper message of communication about the defined objectives compel people at

workplaces to exert their energy for the achievement of the organizational goals which can

further help organization to make more progress by using the more effective modes of

communication(Durai, P. 2010).

When organization is formed in the competitive environment, it is thought to have been

meeting with one of the following objectives by using the effective communication channel

which are before them and in the light of the objectives, managements and policy makers

formulate their course of actions for attaining the objectives. This objective serves the foundation

of organization and can help organization to take up various measures appropriately (Durai, P.

2010).

Part Three:

People Channel

It is a kind of relationship activities that binds people and employees together and helps

them to understand about the kind of activities they are performing at workplaces. People

channel includes in the organization are seniors managers, leaders, frontline superior, employees

and other. So at the upper level, strategists are present who make the various policies of the

organization and define the role of employees and other staff with respect to their qualification

and experiences. All kinds of business activities are defined and the policies regarding the

recruitment of new employees are also formed there (Sims, R. 2002).

For my career enhancement, I am deeply impressed by the role of strategists and policy

makers who make analysis of all available resources of the organization and in the light of the

available scope of the opportunities; the mechanism is developed by them. The role of stagiest in

my organization is quite different in all aspect as it differentiates from other organizations and

firms. Because in other firms, usually firm’s owners are the policy makers who make the various

policies according their won wishes. But in the organization, where I work, there is no concept of

being the owner.

But all decisions and policies are made by the strategists who are usually hired from time

to time. Similarly, the strategist also guides other managerial level staff and acts like a guiding

leader. So the entire hierarchy is controlled by the strategy as well as policy makers for the better

interest of the organization; and the development of the organization is ensured in the light of the

opinions and suggestions of the strategist and policy makers (Baron, J., Kreps, D. 1999).

The organization uses various kinds of communication modes for conveying the

important policies and messages in and out of the organization. The effective source of

communication used by the strategist and policy makers is to send the emails to all employees at

all level. Even the employees are instructed to check their emails from time to time; and through

this medium they are communicated about the meeting, conferences and other face-to-face

meetings at the upper level in the organization.

Sometime the strategist and policy maker give a cold-call to all managerial staff to attend

the meeting and present their agenda regarding the objectives of the proposed policies for the

organization if organization intends to make some amendments in the organizational course of

action plans. It helps organizational employees the real objectives to be achieved in the defined

times.

Part Four:

Why do effective leaders need an action equation?

The basic purpose of using the actions equation is to maintain the organizational success

in the upwards and explore more opportunities in the world of competition that can help

organization to meet and fulfill the demands of market and the employees as well. The strategy

made by the leaders at every stage of the business is to bring more prosperity and betterment for

the organization.

The actions equation also helps people and employees at workplaces to increase their

skills and expertise for giving the best and effective performance which can also help

organization to come on the standards of competition in market. The vision of leaders is focused

on the development of organization and employees as a whole and gaining the necessary

developmental aspects, the role of the leaders is highly analyzed at the workplaces (Deb, T.

2006).

Thus because of the intuitive skills and effective communication strategies by leaders for

highlighting the importance of competition and organization in the eyes of employees, it is

expected that role of leaders is unimaginable in this regards as it helps organization to move from

bottom to top.

To face the hurdles in the competition that sometimes stall the business activities of

organization, it is the role and intuitive skills of leaders that help organization to overcome on the

minor and major impediments in the way of progress and development.

What are the advantages of narrowing strategic messages into a conversation platform?

Leadership stagey narrowing the strategic messages into conversation platform is a useful

means of providing the authentic information to employees at workplaces when they eagerly

participate in the communication process adopted by organization. Organization becomes in a

good position to explain its employees about the future intentions through specific objectives

when they are shown to employees. The employees take great advantages when they are

permitted to be part of the team indulging in the formulation of any positive course of actions for

the betterment of organization (Armstrong, M. 2003).

Employees get motivations and foster their attitude towards the attainment of defined

goals through their inner and heartfelt dedications and commitment towards organizational

business activities. Also it will boost up the cordial relationship among the higher managements

and lower staff and organization will move towards progressive ways.

Why is the People Channel critical to effective leadership communication?

Leaders at workplace use the language that is easily understood by the all and sundry and

can help employees to understand the strategies and course of action which are going on at the

workplaces. So sometime, organizational policy is highly condemned by the people around in the

organization. The people opinion and suggestion are highly appreciated by the leaders at

workplaces who usually try to convey to policy makers of the organization.

Since the people channels at the workplaces are more important for leaders and it is the

responsibility of the leaders to respond as well as understand what they say in favor of the

organization. It will help leaders to make some effective programs for the development of

employees and organization through the opinions of people at workplaces (Armstrong, M. 2003).

Identify at least two key takeaways from this course and explain how you will apply them

to your leadership.

From this course I have learnt the following two important aspects:

Inter-personal skills:

I will apply this key aspect when I will be employed in any organization. At that place,

my face to face communication will help me to understand the people attitude and customs. This

skill will help to increase the social rapports and relationships.

Improvement of knowledge:

This course has helped me to improve my knowledge and skills and I think it will add

more values in enhancing my leadership skills. As leader is expected to be more educated and

updated about the latest technological innovations and skills for the betterment of organization

and employees. So from the enhancing knowledge, I will be addressing some heinous issues and

presenting the solutions which will help organization to move forward.
