year war. He conquered a large section of France and his victory at Agincourt was

source to learn how people from the 14th century saw the plague and how it affected

conquer the French. After this however it had to be revised because England lost in a

The French in this battle had the advantage in numbers and surprise. King Jean II made a

mistake which cost him the beginning of the battle. The mistake he made was he didn’t

mount a lot of knights which made them lose their surprise and the knights were in the

way of his crossbowmen.

they wouldn’t talk about their defeats and some of their victories are exaggerated while in

Britain they teach some of the battles in school.
