Moot court internship

PROGRAMME: BA/BBA/B Com LLB - Credit – 15

PROGRAMME: LLB 3 Years - Credit – 10

Moot Court Internship is a mode of clinical legal education which requires the
students to complete rigorous internship in a lawyer’s chamber. Along with the
internship he/she will also prepare for a moot and prepare a memorial for the
same.
1. Each student will have to witness minimum five moots and active
participate in one.
2. Active participation means:-
a) Submission of written memorial not less than 15 pages.
b) Oral submission including answer to question to court and rebuttal total
15 minutes.
c) Student will be given option to select one problem out of minimum 5
options.
d) Student will be free to choose their team.
e) Attendance will be recorded.
3. Internship Certificate will include (observations of the Lawyer under whom
the student has interned) which will be included in the internal assessment.
4. The student will have to get a feedback certificate duly signed by the
Lawyer under whom he has interned.
Evaluation Scheme:-
Continuous Internal Assessment (Assessment to be done by the supervisor)
(50marks )
1. Attendance -5
2. Student Report( Moot 10 ……Memorial 10) - 20
3. Periodical Progress – 15
4. Internship Certificate ( from the lawyer’s chamber) -10

Final Assessment (Assessment to be done by External Examiners) (50 )


1. Evaluation of Diary – 30
2. Viva - 20
