Setting individual performance objectives provides a link between organisational requirements and individual academic’s contributions to the university.

Achieving performance objectives provides essential input into academic recognition and promotion.
Below are examples of performance objectives and indicators that demonstrate linkages between organisational objectives and promotion criterion.

The following objectives are examples only. You and/or your supervisor can use this document to either source OR prompt the development of performance
objectives that may contribute to an individual’s portfolio of evidence for academic promotion.
