CURRICULUM VITAE
1. Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Officer and
Health and Safety Manager.
2. Assist the Health and Safety Officer and Health and Safety Manager with Health
and Safety monitoring activities on site.
3. Assist the Health and Safety Officer and Manager with the management of fire
safety on site and various locations.
4. Assist with the coordination and management of personal protective equipment.
5. Liaise closely with the client to manage issues relating to the safety and
specifically waste disposal, fire safety equipment, electrical testing and safety
audit non-compliances.
6. Provide clerical support to the Health and Safety Committee and Safety Officers
Forum.
7. Assist the Health and Safety Officer to maintain and coordinate safety activities on
site.
8. Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments,
compliance and training of staff, with particular reference to specific work on site.
9. Review and record checks on all site before commencement of daily activity,
10. Review and checking of emergency exit, fire equipment, and fire signs.
11. Review relevant safety signage within working areas.
12. Review and record the First Aid and spill kit provision on sites.
13. Site toolbox talk coordination.
14. Communicate in a friendly, helpful and non-prejudicial manner in dealings with
staff, clients
15. To undertake work and duties as assigned by the Health and Safety Officer and
Health and Safety Manager in a careful and efficient way and in compliance with
client standards, regulatory requirements and the Quality Management System.
16. To be aware of and abide by the rules and codes of the department, which is
particularly important in the case of Health and Safety and Fire procedures. To
behave in a professional manner and cooperate with all other members of staff at
all times.
