How you think impacts how you feel. So, use the brain to consider which actions makes you happy.
Being a human being means that we make mistakes, but how to deal with them is better. Think how the
emotion can trigger actions.
You may not control the situation, but you definitely can change your perspective (fell and think) about
it.

Try to acknowledge and fell the emotion instead of just disguised it.
