are organised in Warsaw every year to
celebrate the Day of Europe.

Every year the events organized in the framework of the European Meetings are devoted to
the most recent central topics, significant for the future of Poland and the EU. Our key areas
of interest have included as follows: future of the European integration, volunteering, active
citizenship, development cooperation, mobility in the European Union.
Schumanville. As a street fair in Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw, Schumanville is a place
to meet and talk to experts, to learn about the most interesting initiatives of various NGOs
and public institutions, and to take part in competitions, animated activities and educational
games. The open debates for general public concerning current European topics are lead.

Schuman Parade is the pro-European demonstration in the centre of Warsaw. In the Parade
there are a few thousand people from the entire Poland and other European countries.
 Educational activities on the local level

The Polish Robert Schuman Foundation

cooperates with a network of over 400
schools or European Clubs

In collaboration with this platform we

implement a number of educational
projects and initiatives.

Every year, during the European Meetings,

we hold educational events for schools and
European Clubs related to the current
European issues.

Participants of this initiatives are invited to

the European Meetings in Warsaw and join
the Schuman Parade.
 MEDIA
The European Meetings, particularly the
Schuman Parade, always attract a lot of
media attention. We cooperate with
major nationwide broadcasters and press,
while also being active in the social media
(Facebook, Twitter).
 We have hosted a number of guests, including
Polish Presidents Bronisław Komorowski,
Aleksander Kwaśniewski, Prime Ministers
Tadeusz Mazowiecki, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz,
UE Commissioner Janusz Lewandowski,
President of the European Parliament
Hans-Gert Pöttering,
Mayors of Warsaw, Paris and Berlin, Minister of
Foreign Affairs from Ukraine Borys Tarasiuk,
Minister of Foreign Affairs from Croatia
Vesna Pusić.

Over the last 22 years the European Meetings have been

attended by nearly 150,000 people from more than 20 countries.
