Lauren Ingram
COTA
“Congratulations to Lauren Ingram on
being named OT of the Quarter! It has
been a pleasure seeing Lauren grow
clinically and professionally during her first
year of practice as a COTA with us. I have
observed Lauren working with several
challenging patients in terms of level of
impairment and behavior, and she always
demonstrates a “can-do” attitude with a
level of dignity and compassion for her
patients not always seen in newer
clinicians.
She has been receptive to learning new skills/techniques and receiving feed-
back from her direct supervisor and myself. Lauren works independently and
reliably with her patients and they are pleased with her services. Despite the
challenges of growing her caseload, she has hung in with us and is a vital part
of our OT team. I am so glad that she is part of the KidsCare in Houston and
look forward to her continued growth.” - Angela Marunowski, Clinical

Whitney Taylor
M.A. CCC - SLP
Whitney always says “YES” to any request for help, and she does this with the
most positive attitude each and every time. Whitney steps in to help train new
therapists and trouble-shoot issues for therapists when I am unavailable, she
takes on Supervision when we are desperate for help and when her own case-
load is overloaded, and her communication skills are exemplary whether it is
with a parent, a fellow therapist, or our office staff. I can count on Whitney –
always without fail. Whitney Taylor deserves to be recognized. She is the con-
summate professional and it is truly a pleasure to work with someone of her
caliber. Thank you Whitney Taylor for going above and beyond continuously and
seemingly without fatigue; you make it look effortless and our Austin Team
would be sorely lacking without your presence.”

Maira Perez
Client Service Supervisor
“Twenty-five years of managing up to 500
people at a time taught me quickly to
recognize the employees that have those
certain qualities that makes them an
integral part of the companies’
infrastructure and success. Maira has those
qualities.
She is up for whatever gets thrown at her and she does it with a smile and
grace that makes all the other departments happy to work with her. She truly
cares for our clients and their families and she will take whatever time is
needed to make sure that their QA problems are resolved.
Maira doesn’t know the meaning of the word no which has led her to being
cross trained to help other departments. She is eager to learn whatever is
needed to get the job done no matter how menial. I’m proud and thankful to
- Katherine Anders
have her on KidsCare’s Team.”
