English Romanian Translator

This program can translate entire sentences or phrases from English into
Romanian.
In order to accomplish the translation, the program analyses GRAMMATICALLY
the text in English, chooses the most appropriate meaning in Romanian in context
for each English word and then it makes the necessary grammatical AGREEMENTS.
You can also IMPROVE the program by correcting the translation in terms of the
chosen meaning. In addition, this program can READ the text both in English and
Romanian. The dictionary of the program contains more than 48000 words and
140000 phrases, to which correspond 200000 Romanian meanings.

User’s guide:
1. Launch the program (Start -> Programs -> Translator -> Translator). From this moment on, the
program resides in the memory of the computer and can translate everything would appear on the
Clipboard. If you want to configure it, click on its icon on the Taskbar.
2. Whenever you want to translate some text, select the text and then press
Ctrl+C. In a few seconds the text will appear translated into Romanian. If you like the
translation, click OK , if not click ANALYSE.
When you click on ANALYSE or on the icon of the program on the Taskbar, the
complete version of the program will appear. Type the text in the upper window (in
case it is not written) and then click on TRADUCERE. The translation will appear in
the middle window. Click on the word you would like to see its dictionary equivalents.
Choose the most appropriate meaning in Romanian from the dictionary. The program
will re-translate the entire text using the meaning you chose from the dictionary. In
addition, the words you have chosen will probably be used more in the future. This is
how you can teach the program use the meanings you choose. In the lower window
you can see the grammatical analysis of the English and Romanian texts. If you are
not pleased with the translation not even after choosing other meanings in
Romanian, click on ERORI in order to add the English text to the ERORI.TXT file.
 You can have the feeless ultimate version anytime in exchange to this file.
After using the complete version of the program, click on IEŞIRE. After that, the
programs will reside in background.

Possible malfunctions:
If you select some text and then press Ctrl+C and the translation does not appear
try one of the following:
1. Set the mouse cursor on the icon of the program on Taskbar and leave it there
within two seconds. If the “Translator.Inactiv” message appears, activate the program
selecting the “ACTIVARE / DEZACTIVARE “ option. This option was introduced for
disabling the program while pressing Cut (Ctrl+X), Copy (Ctrl+C) şi Paste (Ctrl+V)
during other activities.
2. If the message above the icon is “Translator.Activ” and the program still does
not work, quit program. Then press Ctrl+Alt+Del and check if it still resides in the
memory as Traduc. If so, select Traduc and then click End Task. Click Ok when the
computer displays “Cannot quit FoxPro” and click again End Task (aproximately after
10 seconds), then re-launch program.
3. If you have a damaged DataBase (i.e. the program still does not work after
restarting it for a few times, reinstall the program (ONLY AFTER QUITTING IT). You
will lose any changes you made in the dictionary.
