Work Experience

July 2017 – Present

Attractions Hostess
Magic Kingdom – Walt Disney World Resorts
My job is to get people on and off the ride safely, all the while making sure that the ride remains up and
running. I help with guest related issues and am trained to take care of emergency situations. I operate
heavy machinery and can work in up to 10 different positions - including Main Console, which is where
you oversee the entire ride and are considered the responsible person for the attraction.

Out-of-State Student Mentor
University of Central Florida – First Year Experience Office
My job was to make it easier for students to transition into college life after they left home and familiarize
them with Orlando. I helped plan events for these students as well as showed them around campus and
helped them with their studies. I was also co-chair of marketing for this program which included
overseeing the social media accounts meant to reach out to these students.

Maximum Athletics
I had 9 classes a week with a maximum of 8 kids in each class. I taught them the basic building blocks of
the sport as well as prepared them for the competitive team. I also worked weekends, Fridays, and
summer camps during some weeks. On the weekends, I would oversee birthday parties and plan fun
activities for them to do.

Leadership Experience
1. Out-of-State Student Mentor to 30+ first year students.
2. Worked as a Recreational/Pre-Team Coach at Maximum Athletics for 2 years.
3. Editor-In-Chief of the Woodlands Yearbook my senior year. I was over 30+ staff members and
responsible for 400+ pages.
4. Sports Editor of the Woodlands Yearbook my junior year. Only 2 juniors were given the opportunity
to be editors and I was one of them. I oversaw 10+ staff members and 30+ spreads.
5. I was nominated to represent my school at Texas Girls' State because of my leadership in the

classroom. I ended up 1 of 6 finalists of the 30+ nominated.

6. I was a Pre-school Teacher at my church for 2+ years. I led worship and helped with classes with over
20+ preschoolers.
7. I attended a Communications Workshop dealing with leadership and teamwork at Texas A&M
University.
