Safer Internet Day 2018

As part of our Computing curriculum, Guildford Grove will be celebrating ‘Safer Internet Day’ with
hundreds of other schools globally. This year’s theme is “Create, connect and share respect: A
better internet starts with you” and is focusing on creating a better internet for everyone, in
particular the youngest users out there. More than that, it is an invitation for everyone to join in
and engage with others in a respectful way in order to ensure a better digital experience. We all
have the responsibility to educate our children about how to stay safe when using online providers,
whether this is through gaming portals or streaming websites such as YouTube.
