from the tip of the manifold. Place the extra seal that is placed in the injector set
on the connector to the appliance, and then assemble the connector to the Fig. 1 Fig. 2
appliance. The connector to the appliance must be ½” threaded female.

Butane/Propane gas
Use outlet connector B/P for Butane/Propane gas. The hose must be connected
to the outlet union and secured using hose clamp B (Fig. 2).
The hose must not be longer than 2 m. It must be a standard hose and replaced
within the date printed on it.
Important: Close the gas supply cock before carrying out any maintenance
operation.Connection details: see the specific regulations for your country. Fig. 3

Use pressure regulators that are suitable for the gas pressure values
given on the Injector Table supplied separately

If the appliance is arranged for a type of gas different from that available, it is
necessary to change the injectors, adjust the minimum flame and change the
outlet union.
Carry out the following operations to change the hob injectors: remove the pan
supports, remove the burners and burner caps (see Fig.3); change the injector
(Fig.4) and replace it with one suitable for the new type of gas (see table on the Fig. 4
separate Product Sheet). Replace the gas setting label with the new one
included in the injector bag.
Refit everything by proceeding in reverse order, making sure to correctly fit the
burner cap on the burner.

Minimum for hob taps

NB: The appliance injectors must be replaced by an authorised
technician.
For appliances equipped with Flame Failure Devices and microswitches, the
control panel must be removed in order to safely access the adjusting screw. Fig. 5
To adjust the minimum flame, proceed as follows
• Light the burner and turn the knob to min. ; remove the tap knob (Fig.5)
Insert a small screwdriver in the tap pin (Fig 6).
Turn the adjustment screw anticlockwise to increase the flame, or clockwise to

Caution: If any burner fails to ignite for 60 secs, turn the valve and do not attempt to re-ignite for 2 minutes. Likewise, if flame goes
out on an operating gas burner, do not attempt to re-ignite for 2 minutes.

USE OF ELECTRIC HOTPLATES

The electrical cooker is commanded by 7 graded switches. “0” of the grades is off location. The

The upper part of electrical cooker is covered by a protective material resistant to heat.
Turn the switch of the electrical cooker to “3” and then operate the cooker for 5 minutes
in order to burn and so to toughen the protective layer at first use.
During use of electrical cookers, it is required to pay attention to the used saucepans to
have smooth bases. If appropriate sized and smooth based saucepans are used, you can
get the most efficiency from your cooker. It is not suggested to use the little size saucepans
on the big size cooker, because this will cause heat loss and so energy will be wasted.

WARNING
When the electric cooker button is brought to another position than the “0” position, the
electric burner warning light will be on.
Use only pots which fit the burner diameter.
Before placing the pot on the burner, be sure that its bottom is not wet.
Never operate electric cookers while empty. Pot temperature may be high when the
appliance is in use. Therefore, it is recommended that you keep children and pets away
from the hob both during and after operation.
In case you notice any crack on the electric cooker, it must be immediately switched off
and replacedby the Authorized Service.
After use (in oder to ensure its continuously effective operation and long service life), your
electric cooker needs to be thoroughly cleaned using appropriate cleaning materials. In
order to prevent any formation of rust and preserve their initial appearance, it is
recommended to clean the cookers rubbing them with a piece of cloth that is slightly
damped by oil. Never use steam cleaners.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: When cleaning the cooker, do not shift it beyond the length
of the tube.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before carrying out any
cleaning operation.
• Clean using a cloth moistened with warm soapy water or diluted liquid
detergent.
• Do not use abrasive, corrosive or chlorine products, or steel wool.
• Do not use steam cleaners.
• Do not use flammable products.
• Do not leave acid or alkaline substances such as vinegar, salt, lemon juice,
etc., on the hob.
Stainless steel surface
Clean with a specific commercial product. Burner cap
Cleaning the burners
To clean the hob burners, lift them out of their seats (Fig. 1) and place in a
solution of hot water and non-abrasive detergent for about 10 minutes. After
cleaning and washing the burners, thoroughly dry them. Burner head
Always make sure the openings are not blocked. It is advisable to carry
out this operation at least once a week or whenever necessary. Make sure to
properly refit the burners, turning them slowly so that the burner caps engage
in the injector holder seat (if perfectly centred, the burner lowers a little and Burner base
locks in place).
Pan support maintenance Fig. 1
• Clean the pan supports with a sponge and detergent whenever dirty.
• The pan supports will change colour near the burners. This is perfectly
normal and is due to the high temperature reached during cooking.
Oven cleaning
• After cooking, wait for the oven to cool then clean it to prevent the accumulation
of cooking residuals.
• For stubborn grime, use a specific oven cleaning product, following the
instructions given on the package.
• Clean the outside of the oven with a sponge and lukewarm water.
• Do not use abrasive products or steel wool.
• Clean the door glass with a liquid detergent.
• Soak the accessories in water with washing up detergent immediately after
use. Food residues can be easily removed using a brush or sponge.
Removing the side grids (depending on models)
Grip the bottom part of the side grids and pull towards the middle of the oven.
Lift upwards to completely remove.
Pull the side grid as shown in the picture (fig. 2). After releasing it from clips,
lift up.
Carry out the above steps in reverse order to refit the side grid. Fig. 2
Caution: After cleaning, be sure that the grids are fitted in their original sides.
The notches on the grids must be close to the front, not rear.
The use of a gas cooking appliance results in the production of heat and
moisture in the room in which it is installed. Ensure that the kitchen is well
ventilated: keep natural ventilation holes open or install a mechanical
ventilation device (mechanical extractor hood).
Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may call for additional ventilation, for
example opening of a window or more effective ventilation, for example
increasing the level of mechanical ventilation where present.
