BOND TO BE SIGNED BY A PERSON

ENTERING THE SERVICE OF THE BANK AS CASH OFFICER

By this bond, I Muhammad Sajid S/O Fajar Khan, adult, holder of CNIC No. 35201-7972670-5
residing at Baddoki, P/O Kahna Nau, Lahore (hereinafter called employee’ which expression unless
the subject or the context otherwise indicates shall mean and include my heirs, administrator and
executors) of the First part hereby hold and firmly bind myself to Messrs Habib Bank Ltd., a limited
Liability Bank incorporated under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 and having its Head Office at HBL
Plaza, Karachi, (hereinafter called the “Bank” and includes its successors, assigns) of the Second Part;
for the payment up to Rs 300,000/- (Rupees Three hundred thousand only).

WHEREAS the Bank had appointed the employee, as Officer (Band 1) as per Appointment Letter dated
26-12-2017 the terms and conditions of which have duly accepted by the employee; AND WHEREAS the
Bank is imparting on the job training to the Employee for which the cost of training shall be borne bt the
Bank AND WHEREAS, the employee has agreed as follows:

 To devote whole time and attention to learn of various matters in respect of which on the job
training is imparted to the Employee during the period of probation / on the job training.
 To serve a period of 3 years effective from joining date, not to leave the Bank’s employment and
in the event of my doing so, for any reason whatsoever, the Employee agrees to pay the Bank
liquidated damages in the sum of Rs. 300,000/= on pro-rata basis for time, effort and expenses
incurred by the Bank on the job training.
 In case of failure to pay the aforesaid amount the employee hereby irrevocably authorize HBL to
appropriate the said amount from his dues, Provident Funds etc., and or any other amount or
security held by HBL. The Employee also authorizes HBL to appropriate the amount from any
bank account, which he may hold to adjust the liabilities outstanding at his end.
 That upon such payment being made on the above written Bond the same shall be void but
otherwise the said Bond shall remain in full force and effect.
