What is Business Planning?

Business Planning is the process of determining a commercial enterprise's objectives, strategies

and projected actions in order to promote its survival and development within a given time frame.
Business planning typically has two key aspects, one focused on making profits and the other focused on
dealing with risks that might negatively impact the business.

What are the Concept and Business Model?

A Business Concept is an idea for a business that includes basic information such as the service or
product, the target demographic, and a unique selling proposition that gives a company an advantage
over competitors. A business concept may involve a new product or simply a novel approach to
marketing or delivering an existing product. Once a concept is developed, it is incorporated into a
business plan. Business concept contains the essence of the enterprise in a concise but powerful manner.
It stresses the value of the product offering to the target customer who found most likely buy it.

Business Model is the description of means and methods a firm employ to earn the revenue
projected in its plans. It views the business as a system and answers the question, "How are we going to
make money to survive and grow?" A Business model is a formula on how the enterprise exactly plans to
make money out of the business.

What are the Business Goals?

Business Goals describe what a company expects to accomplish over a specific period of time.
Businesses usually outline their goals and objectives in their business plans. Goals might pertain to the
company as a whole, departments, employees, customers, or any other area of the business.

Business goals shows the future and long term prospects of the enterprise. It is composed of the
vision, mission, objectives, key result areas, and performances indicators of the enterprise.

ASEAN SUMMIT

Since the last Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit which concerns about the
business issues, investment opportunities, and directions for growth in Southeast Asia they also talk
about the issues on regional and international importance like the issue of human rights, code of conduct
in China, counter-terrorisms, North Korea’s missile tests, migrant rights. For me, talking about this
different issues are very important because all the economy under the ASEAN countries will be affected if
these issues aren’t given fast action and solutions. But, if all the ASEAN leaders only says their plan of
action and didn’t really do it those issues we will not achieve the growth for ASEAN economy. ASEAN
Summit event should continue for all the ASEAN Leaders focus more about those different issues to be
really resolve and all work together to their actions so that their target economy will rise and reach it.
