Scams against seniors come in all forms, from an innocent looking email to a promise
of home improvement assistance to a frightening call from someone claiming to be a
loved one. In partnership with the Better Business Bureau and AT&T, I am hosting
two presentations that will help seniors learn how to spot such scams, how to
protect themselves, and how to report scams to authorities. These free presentations
will be held Thursday, February 8, at 9:00 a.m. at the Magnarelli Community
Center, 2300 Grant Blvd., and at 3:30 p.m. at the Liverpool Public Library, 310
Tulip St. The information presented is the same at both times; those interested are
