COMPANY PROFILE
BIBINGKINITAN is exclusively established and distributed by Food Asia
Corporation (Food Asia). They have been in the food industry since 2005. Its most
well-known brand to date is Bibingkinitan. Food Asia has developed into a
multi-brand and expanded its size on retail, food service, food manufacturing
and in franchising through its solid business administration.
Bibingkinitan’s primary item, as proposed by its name, is the
Filipino nibble “Bibingka”. Bibingka is a Filipino rice cake that is
prevalently being sold amid the Christmas season, particularly directly
after the “Simbang Gabi” masses.
Bibingkinitan is the greatest and driving unique nibble size Bibingka and coffee shop
pander to purchasers of all ages. Together with their delicate and sodden bibingka, they likewise serve
100% barako (Philippine Liberica) coffee which is known for its full and solid flavor.
Franchising for Bibingkinitan is one of the prime movers in the Philippine Franchise Industry
through its intensive and mindful way to deal with franchising. 70% of aggregate Bibingkinitan stores are
organization possessed and minded completely by Food Asia Corporation, and the rest of the 30% are run
by the franchisees.
PRODUCTS

 Bibingkinitan’s Main Products and the

Services Offered:

For just Php 50, customers can experience a delightful treat of Bibingkinitan’s combo-BibiKape (a

may also try its variety of flavors. People can select from macapuno (mixed with sweetened coconut strips),

COUNTRIES OF EXPORT
Bibingkinitan has over 200 locations in key cities and towns nationwide. It also has plans for
overseas expansion, particularly in Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Las Vegas in the US. This
makes the company the country’s biggest bibingka franchise.
In time for its tenth anniversary, Bibingkinitan opened its first outlet in Dubai, followed by another
outlet in Qatar. Plans are also underway to open a flagship store in Abu Dhabi, as well as in other countries
rife with overseas Filipino communities such as Guam, China, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Being in the business for eight years now, Bibingkinitan has already earned numerous awards and
recognitions. It was recipient of the Best in Franchise Support award from the annual Entrepreneur
Franchise Awards in 2007. The company was also recognized for three consecutive years by the same
award-giving body from 2008 to 2010.
PROBLEM AND CHALLENGES
The usual problem with delicacies subjected to mass marketing is the deterioration of taste.
Bibingkinitan's product is of Filipino taste and with that, franchising it to other countries like the Westerns
is going to be hard.
STRATEGIES
Bibingkinitan offers a product that is affordable for people who want to spend less and, they started
franchising to countries within the Asia first which has some similarities with food taste in the Philippines.
Bibingkinitan is one of the Philippines business which shares Filipino culture with other countries and it is
a good franchise for Filipinos who want to share the Filipino bibingka with foreigners without going to
Philippines.
Consistency in innovating the brand and the company’s systems is key. “Part of our mission is
educating the young about traditional food. We’ve been quite successful—we’ve been around for 10 years
already and still growing,” says Sanz.

COMPANY PROFILE
ORYSPA Spa Solutions is the first and finest maker of
rice bran based spa products in the country. The franchising
company was born in 2011 after the brand ORYSPA had a warm
acceptance in the market when it was soft launched in 2010. Their
company KUTITAP Aromatherapy Crafts started its research
about rice bran in 2007 as it is an SME manufacturing since year
2000.
ORYSPA came from the scientific name of rice “oryza sativa”, means rice for the spa. Like food
for the soul, Oryspa products will just do that. It provides instant relaxation, rejuvenation or energy when
you need it most. You can bring the spa experience into your homes.
Benefits of Rice Bran
The rice bran oil unlike other natural plant oils which you must have an intake as supplement to
have an effect, effective results are achieved when used topically.
1. Look and feel younger as rice bran used in Oryspa products are high omega 3 fatty acids and
vitamin b which are natural anti-oxidant.
2. Get fairer whiter skin safely with Oryspa products with rice bran. Unlike virgin coconut oil, rice
bran has a high smoke point which means it does not react easily to the heat of the sun where we
experience abundantly in the tropics.
3. Get smoother softer hair and skin as Oryspa products are easily absorbed by the skin.
4. Enjoy a clearer complexion as Oryspa brightens with rice bran being naturally antibacterial in
nature.

Poland and other European countries, and sold worldwide through various online merchants. Oryspa has
also already set up two physical stores in Singapore.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
ORYSPA has won several awards, including the 2016 ASEAN Business Awards for Excellence in
Healthcare, Sherill was named ASEAN Woman Entrepreneur in 2016 and 2016’s Most Inspiring Filipina
awardee for Go Negosyo.
PROBLEM AND CHALLENGES
Branding and positioning challenges the business since ‘darak’ is commonly fed to pigs here in the
Philippines. It was challenging to introduce Oryspa to the market. But like most pioneer products, along
with high potential, intensive product awareness is needed.
STRATEGIES
Intensive product awareness is the key for branding in this product. Reviewing client feedback and
listening to consumer pulse regarding which products are in need are also essential. Studies show that there
is an increasing consciousness about the carcinogenic effect of chemical-laden topical products and that
alternative organic product prove to be more in demand in sustaining a healthy lifestyle. ORYSPA focused
on offering products to address this.
