PART 2 – to both students (interaction).- 2/ 3 minutes
Situation:
At the end of the term, your class is going to spend a day at the seaside. Talk together
about the things you will do there. All right? Talk together.
Here is a picture with some ideas to help you (give sts a few moments to look at
the picture; teacher shouldn’t join unless sts have problems
Now I’d like each of you to talk on your own about sth. I’m going to give each of
you a photograph of one way of travelling.
To st A: here’s your photo. (give st A Photo 1 B). Please show it to st B but I’d
like you to talk about it. St B, you just listen. I’ll give your photo in a moment.
St B: please tell us what you can see in your photo (give st B Photo 1 C). It also
shows a way of travelling. Please show it to St A and tell us what you can see in
the photo.
Your photos showed different ways of travelling. Now I’d like you to talk together
about how you would choose to travel.
(give sts about 2 minutes to talk together. Do not join unless they have
problems, for example to offer a comment. “I prefer to fly but I know it’s not good
for the environment”.
