A business model is the conceptual structure supporting the viability of a business,

including its purpose, its goals and its ongoing plans for achieving them. At its simplest,
a business model is a specification describing how an organization fulfills its purpose. All
business processes and policies are part of that model which overall business plans for
the maximum profit, its vision, mission goals and objectives.
Recently I have been working in NGO .i.e. Election Observation Committee (EOC) -
Nepal. It is emerging as a non-partition and non-profit making organization committed
to ensure fair and free electoral system in the country. In that sense the primary
objective of EOC is to monitor election. As mentioned, this institution is created by
experienced professionals with a wide spectrum of background and affiliations with the
civil society organizations in the country that include lawyers, human rights activists,
teachers, social workers, gender activists and development practitioners etc. The
Chairperson of EOC has a long history of providing leadership to human rights
organizations including the Amnesty International Nepal Chapter (1999-2003).It is a
lean organization with limited number of core staff however it has a pull of committed
and motivated experts who could be mobilized at a short notice. It has necessary
physical facilities such as office space, furniture, equipment and supplies to undertake
assignments.
Vision
EOC believes in the internationally accepted principles of the freedom of elections based
on the notion of universal suffrage so it urges that authorities need to take concrete
and tangible steps to ensure free and fair elections. EOC calls upon the contesting
political parties to end their complacent attitude towards election-related violence and
act in full compliance with the electoral laws and directives.
Apart from election observation, EOC is engaged as a democracy watch flagship
organization primarily focused on the study, training, advocacy and lobbying the
development of a compromised representation model in the new constitution and
beyond.
Goal
Establishment of stable democracy in the country through free and fair periodic
elections.
Objectives
• To conduct overall observation of the all elections- long term and short term including
closely observe of all phases of election-related procedure i.e. pre-election, election day
and post-election activities.
• To observe whether the political parties and candidates are acting in compliance with
the Code of Conduct developed by Election Commission; and the activities of other
actors such as those political parties or groups who are not taking part in the elections,
ex-combatants, Terai spender groups etc.
• To observe whether everyone including media (both electronic and print) is free and
fair in election reporting involved in the election is aware of the importance of making it
is as fair and transparent as possible
• To observe whether the Election Commission has introduced transparent procedures
that guarantee electoral impartiality at every stage of the process - from the initial
registration of voters to the final counting of ballots ;and beyond;
• To observe whether the security organs involved in maintaining law and order during
the elections are independent, impartial and effective in carrying out their duties;
• To observe whether the civic and voter's education materials are precise, informative,
effective and cohesive
Being a successful NGO with such a significant execution and its fruitful operation for a
long time, it has dependably been working with a magnificent strategy for success with
so much practical procedures and vision that have cleared its way towards progress.
Remaining steadfast for these years in the most serious competitive market, it still
requires better methodologies with best plan of action but still this organization have
never traded off with every one of these criteria. It has constantly centered on utilizing

Also talking about increasing the revenue and profit in the current scenario such as
