seagirt pullover
Designed by Lou Schielai

A pretty twist-stitch pattern on back and along front neck

provides decoration and shaping at the same time. Decreases
are worked into the patterning, giving the body of this dolman
tee an A-line shape that flatters full figures. The back and
front are worked upward from the lower edge with stitches
for the sleeves cast-on at each side. The sleeves are gradually
increased as the piece is worked to the shoulder line, and the
pieces are grafted together at the shoulders. This style works
well for most plus-sized women and offers an especially
strong option for women in the largest sizes. Bamboo yarn
keeps the fabric light and breathable.

on left needle as if to knit, yo and
draw loop through without remov-
ing st from left needle, then insert
right needle into first stitch on left
needle as if to knit, yo and draw loop
through, slip both stitches off left

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for pattern.

Notes
+ A row counter is strongly recom-
mended for keeping track of when
to incorporate new stitches into the
twist rib pattern.
+ During front neck shaping, if there
are not enough stitches to work a
complete 2-stitch right twist, work
the remaining stitch in stockinette.
