Roles & Responsibilities of A.G.M (EHS)
1. To develop, implement and maintain OH&S Management System as per OHSAS –
18001 and Environmental management System 14001 standards within the
company at plant, office, and at all sites.
2. To create awareness among employees at all levels regarding OHSAS – 18001 and
ISO – 14001.
3. To conduct quarterly / Annual Corporate EHS review meetings.
4. To identify and prepare skill matrix in line with EHS.
5. To check all unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and taking remedial measures.
6. To conduct regular EHS committee meetings on regular intervals.
7. To prepare Safe Operating procedures and conduct Risk Assessment.
8. To ensures that the company meets Statutory and regulatory compliances line with
EHS activities.
9. To conduct Safety Audits and report for recommendations.
10. To prepare Job Safety Analysis in all areas work.
11. To conduct initial Safety and Environment review.
12. To evaluate the aspect & impact related to environment in all areas and to find out
the significant environmental aspects.
13. To evaluate identify hazard and risk assessment in each every area.
14. To ensure adherence to Safety in each & every work area.
15. To review On-Site/Off-site Emergency Plan & instruction allegation of the same
and to conduct relevant mock drill.
16. To conduct Safety promotional activities like National Safety Day, Safety
Competitions, Safety drawings/posters, slogans, essays, quiz & other appropriate.
17. To identify and develop green belt area.
18. To inspect validate Safety equipment like Safety Belts, Fire Extinguisher, PPE etc.
19. To Monitor and measure the key EHS operations.
20. To identify and implement work permit system for dangerous activities.
21. To prepare and monitor environment management program and safety management
program for time to time cases.
22. Presenting monthly EHS status of plant, office and all sites top management.
23. Interacting with customer on the status updating with respect to EHS
Implementation.

Establishing acceptable H & S Standards with in the organization.
Providing necessary staffing & funding for H & S effort with in the organization.
Authorizing necessary major expenditures.
Evaluate; Approve & Authorize H & S related projects developed by members of
the organization’s H & S and safety Advisers.
Reviewing & sending for Approval to Higher authorities - H & S Policy, Procedures,
& Programs developed by Group Staffs.
Maintain working knowledge of areas of H & S that are regulated by government
agencies.
Reviewing H & S Performance Statistics and reporting to management team.
Review & act upon major recommendations submitted by outside loss-prevention
consultants.
Mainly safety, tours, inspection, Internal audits by making specific remarks about
observation of acts or conditions that fall short of or exceed H & S Standards.
Personally investigate Major property damages and any incidents too.
Personally chair the organizations main H & S Committee.
Ensuring and Giving Training to all in their duties and responsibilities on their H & S
Identifying the reasons for accidents and other dangerous occurrences and
deviations from Standard operating procedures & taking corrective actions.
Responding to workers concerns promptly to creating environment where workers
are encouraged to bring forward the deviations noticed by them.
Environment
Taking care of the whole environment of the factory including waste segregation
and disposal management.
Handling of physical, chemical and Biological treated of Effluent.
Liaisoning with the standards of treatment as per the PCB norms.
Effective maintenance of Zero Discharge of Effluent.
Implemented Zero Break down in RO and UF systems by preventive maintenance,
and ( 5S) Jishu Hozen and Kaizen activities.
Controlling and implementing of ISO 14001:2004 norms with MR.
Generating Environmental MIS for management overview.
Co-ordinating with SHE in implementing and maintaining Environmental and Safety
aspects.
Careful operation and maintenance of Ultrafilteration and Reverse Osmosis
systems.
Analysis and interpreting the results of various water quality parameters like DO,
BOD, COD, Oil & Grease, etc.
Monitoring air pollution parameters like Suspended Particulate matter (SPM),
Respirable Particulate Matter (RPM), Oxides of sulphur and Oxides of Nitrogen.
Handling of Hazardous wastes generated from various processes like Production,
Mechanical and Water treatment process.
Documenting and maintaining the records required legally in concern with the
Environment.

Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports and submitting to concern higher
authorities, conducting weekly, monthly safety meetings.
Controlling and implementing of ISO 14001:2004 norms with MR.
Generating Environmental MIS for management overview.
Introduced 3R waste management system – Reduce. Recycle, Reuse.

Developing the Project and Plant Erection and commissioning
of Manufacturing of PTFE- Pipes and Accessories.
Scheduling for the above said project.
Finding the needs, raising the quires, and purchasing /
importing the necessary accessories.
Communicating and getting necessary advice from the
origin company for trouble shutting while erecting and commissioning the plant.
Arranging the third party inspection for the imported accessories.
Monitoring for Cost estimation for the produced products.
Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports and submitting
on concern higher authorities meeting.
Marketing and Servicing of Glass Lined Reactors and Accessories.
Scheduling the sales and service engineers.
Preparing quotation and sending the same to the clients.
Weekly visit to the necessary clients.
Arranging the third party inspection for export items.
Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for the sales
and service activities and submitting on concern higher authorities meeting.
