1 INTRODUCTION
This invitation to Tender details the requirements for the Engineering, fabrication, Supply and
Installation of Suspended Ceilings (including steel secondary support required for fixing) for
the Design and Build of Al-Bayt Stadium in Al-Khor city Package 2 (Stadium, Auxiliary Building
and bridge)

This document has to be read in conjunction with the related contractual specifications which take
priority over this document.

2 REFERENCE DOCUMENT, LEGISLATION and CODE OF PRACTICE

In addition to the attached list of documents, the permanent works has to comply with the following
standards, but not limited to:
1. QCS 2014
2. GSAS Requirements
3. QCDD Requirements

4 DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK
 Engineering, fabrication, Supply, Warrant and Installation of Suspended Ceilings
according to the Project specifications and QCS 2014.
 Areas of application is indicated on the drawings attached.
 The quotation includes all tests, Mockups, samples etc.… as per the specs.
 The bidder is free to adopt his best application methodology without contradicting with
the Project specifications, QCS 2014 and the common practice standards.
 Since The Project is GSAS compliant, the bidder to submit along with the quotations the
certificates that prove that their product is GSAS compliant.
 Responsibility matrix to be followed.
 Bidder shall state clearly the country of fabrication and material source.
 The bidder should be able to demonstrate the compatibility of the systems proposed to
carry out our design through adequate documentation (test reports, previous work
experience, etc.…)
 The bidder is responsible to verify the quantities as per the drawings at the time of the
request for quotation and during signing the contract phase.
 The bidder to provide a full breakdown for the materials of the systems proposed from
their side, along with the price breakdown.
 The bidder to suggest, if applicable, alternative systems as a value engineering.
 The bidder to provide samples in adequate size as per the attached photos of sample
boards to show the quality and different materials included in their quotation.
 The engineering shall be done in BIM LOD 400 and for As built LOD 500
 The bidder to indicate the estimate for the lead time for the different materials, and what
could be in the stock. The lead time is calculated from the time of placing the order till
the delivery on site
 Fixation of external cement board ceiling to be confirmed as per provided details, or to
be replaced by another fixation method included in the price.

 Compliance status documents with Q22 for the standards of the accommodation and the
welfare of the workers.
 Test reports for the materials and the systems proposed.
 GSAS compliance certificates.
 Lead time schedule.
