Frist Grade Dual Language Teacher, CUSD 300, Algonquin, IL (August 2017-Present)
o Teach a group of 1st grade English language learners using their native language of Spanish for 80% of
the day and in their second language of English for 20% of the day.
o Create a student-led classroom through the use of data binders for students to track their weekly progress
in reading, math and ClassDojo.
o Implement rigorous and relevant lessons to support student understanding and to create comprehensible
input for 20 students.
