Setting 30x30 TSLOT

Before beginning
Ensure a wide space of work very lit as well as the availability of all the

1. MONTAJE MARCO
MATERIALS:

• 1 x 75cm profile aluminium extruido 30x30mm
• 6 x cover covers profiles (plastic black
• 1 key allen

We will use the squares, and the nuts Tslot like these:
1.1. SETTING OF THE BASE

Material that need:

• 4 x squares of metal
• 8 x m3x12mm screws
• 8 x special nuts Tslot
• 2 x 50cm extrusion profile
• 2 x 60cm extrusion profile

We plant the profiles in this position, seat the Axis X the profiles of 60cm tslot and the
Axis And the profiles of 50cm tslot.
We do him these marks that see in the image with a pen:
- In the axis X (60cm) in the centre.
- In the axis And to 26 cm of the rear part of the printer. (Nevertheless we
explain it carefully more advance).
We plant a square in each corner inside of the profile and each square uses 2 nuts and
2 screws.

Important: The special nuts Tslot that go to use have to enter them before in the

1.2. SETTING OF THE STRUCTURE FOR AXIS Z
Material that need:

• 2 x squares of metal
• 4 x m3x12mm screws
• 2 x 50cm outline aluminium 30x30cm
• 4 x special nuts Tslot.
• 2 x triangles of aluminium of 415mm high
• 14 x m3x12mm screws and 14 special nuts Tslot for the triangles of aluminium.
Remember that the squares of the image do not coincide since no longer they

1.3. SETTING OF THE TOP
Material that need:

• 2 x squares of metal
• 4 x m3x12mm screws
• 1 x 75 cm profile aluminium 30x30cm
• 4 x special nuts Tslot.
• 2 x triangles of aluminium 2mm thickness
• 14 x screws m3x12mm and 14 special nuts TSLOT for the triangles of
aluminium of 2mm of thickness.
We plant the profile of 75 cm in the top of the printer centring it leaving 7,5 cm to each
side.

We plant the triangles of aluminium on the axis Z and the axis And by the external part
of the printer, fixing them with 4 screws in the profile of vertical aluminium (ejeZ) and 3
screws on the profile of aluminium of the axis And.

2. SETTING AXES

2.1 SETTING OF THE AXIS And


Material that need:

• 1 x piece impresa sujección engine axis And.


• 1 x piece impresa sujección rolling axis And.
• 4 x pieces impresas sujección belt axis And (under the bed).
• 12 x m3x12mm screws.
• 4 X m3 x 35mm screws
• 12 x special nuts Tslot.
• 1 x engine nema 17.
• 1 x pulley GT2 20 teeth. (Fixed in the axis of the engine).
• 2 x rollings 624zz.
• 2 smooth wands 12mm thickness 560mm length.
• 4 rollings LM12UU.
• 1,25 metres belt GT2.

PIECES IMPRESAS

Step1: we Plant the piece “BEAR ENGINE” in the rear profile tslot that measures 60cm
(by the internal part) so that the pulley GT2 20 teeth remain centred in the profile.

Step 2: we Plant the piece “BEAR ROLLING” in the leading profile tslot that measures
60cm (by the internal part) so that the pulley GT2 20 teeth remain centred in the profile.
The piece impresa carries 2 rollings 624zz on which goes planted the toothed belt.
Step 3: we Plant 3 pieces “BEAR WAND AXIS And”: two in the go planted pla in the
leading profile and one goes planted in the rear profile to the left of the engine, all they
in the top of the profile.
We plant 1 piece “BEAR ENDSTOP WAND AXIS And” in the rear profile in the top of
said profile to the right of the engine of the
t axis And.
These pieces serve of support for the wands of stainless steel of 12mm of diameter
and 561mm of length that lodge on and attach with a brida of plastic.
They use 2 wands each one of them subject by two pieces impresas of support.

Step 4: we Plant the pieces “SUJECCIÓN CORREA” underneath of the bed so that
they attach the two extremes of the belt.

2.2 SETTING OF THE AXIS X


Material that need:

• Pieces of plastic impresas


• 4 rollings LM8UU
• Linear guide 60cm length
• Correa GT2 1250mm

NOTE: The nuts of M8 and M3 go bedded in the piece with the help of the soldador. The screw
of m3x25mm is fundamental since it is the attendant to touch in the end of career of the axis z

2.3 PLANT LEGS OF THE PRINTER

with a screw of m3 x 12mm.
2.4 SETTING OF THE AXIS Z

Material that need:

• Pieces of plastic impresas


• Axis X complete
• 2 profiles tslot 30x30 500mm length
• 2 smooth wands 8mm 536mm length
• 2 threaded wands 8mm 510mm length
• 2 flexible couplers 5mm to 8mm

Step 1: Fix engines to the threaded wand and to the piece impresa.
Step 2: Fix engines to the structure of profiles of aluminium.

Step 3: plant piece impresa upper and smooth wand.

We plant the two pieces impresas in the profile of upper aluminium:


Step 4: we enter the “axis X complete” in the smooth vertical wands and
threaded of the Axis Z, remaining the image like this.

3. SETTING EXTRUSOR

3.1 ENGINE EXTRUSOR

The System Bowden is the system of extrusion that use the professional machines like the
“Ultimaker”, said system has advantages and incovenientes: like fundamental advantages
are the rapidity and the quality in the precision since to the not weighing so much the car of
the axis x the machine can print faster and with better quality.
As inconvenient is that but assembles properly has ease to obstruct since the tube of
teflon generates a friction in the

We take the big piece and plant it in the engine nema17 with 3 screws m3x8mm.
In the small piece plant the rolling 608zz and fix it to her with a screw m5x15mm.

3.2 ENGINE HOTEND

SETTING HOTEND

- We attach the piece 1 with 2 screw m3 x 25mm to the car of the axis X (equal that
anchored the wades with the 2 screws of m3x40mm)
- We put the hotend in the piece 1 and attach it with the piece 2 with 2 screws of
m3x20mm.
- Afterwards simply we plant the tube of teflon of a “pushfit” to another without that have

4 ELECTRONIC SETTING
SETTING OF THE HOT BED

- The hot bed delivers with the already placed and subject thermistor with strip kapton.

If it has purchased a printer with hot bed of silicone to 220V, will have to connect it through a
relay of solid state or SSR. Said bed will work with PWM by what the temperature will keep

VERY IMPORTANT:

- The engines go connected according to the colours of the diagram, in the firmware of

- Remember plant the diode and the relay in the exit D8
- The Fan of the ramps goes connected directly to 12V. Can use 2 pines that there is
just on of the fuses rearmables (yellow) or connect it directly to “Power Supply”.
