Duterte hindi titigil sa pagsugpo sa
droga

Siniguro ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang unang State of the Nation Address na hindi siya titigil

MANILA, Philippines — Hindi nawaglit sa unang State of the Nation Adress (SONA) ni Presidente Rodrigo
Duterte ang isyu ng droga.

Sa kanyang talumpati kanyang pinagdiinang hindi titigil ang kanyang administrasyon na sugpuin ang problema
sa droga.

Paalala niya pa sa hanay ng kapulisan: "Double your efforts. Triple them is needed."

Dagdag pa niya, "we will not stop until the last drug lord, the last financier or the last pusher were put behind
the bars."

Nagbigay rin siya ng babala sa mga miyembro ng kapulisan na may kinalaman sa isyu ng droga na sila'y
mananagot sa batas.

At kasabay nito'y ang paalala niya sa publiko na huwag tangkilikin ang droga.

Rehabilitasyon
Samantala, dahil sa kakulangan sa pasilidad para sa rehabilitasyon ng mga sumukong gumagamit ng droga,
sinabi ni Duterte sa kanyang SONA na gagamitin ang kampo ng Armed Forces of the Philippines para rito.

Kasabay nito'y ang pagpapagawa ng karagdagang rehabilitation centers upang mas masuportahan ang
rehabilitasyon ng mga sumukong gumagamit ng droga.

Pinaalalahanan niya rin ang mga sumasamantala sa usapin ng human rights upang maabsuwleto sa paglabas
sa batas.

Ani Duterte, "human rights must work to uplift the human dignity. But human rights cannot bee used as an
excuse to destroy the country—your country and my country."
