UNCLE BERRY ELLIS DEAD

Uncle Berry Ellis, a prominent citizen of Straight Mountain, died at his home on route 5,
Oneonta at an early hour Wednesday morning. He was about 72 years of age and was a
member of the Church of God. The deceased is survived by his widow, six sons, Terry,
Albert, Donald, Vandiver, Malcolm, and Homer Ellis; eight daughters, Mrs. Louis Clements,
Mrs. Bertha Munn, Mrs. Stella Bolt, Mrs. Zula Wilemon, Mrs. Edna Hollingworth, Mrs. Asa
Murphree, Mrs. Zona Jones and Miss Jewell Ellis. The funeral services are to be held at
Mountain Chapel Thursday.
