Mahavir Sikshan Santshan is National Level Organization working with World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark, since 5
Years in area of Diabetes Prevention in India. We are working in Diabetes Prevention Control Project with National Health
Mission, Supported by World Diabetes Foundation, This Programme First of its kind in Uttar Pradesh has helped pregnant
women and adults and newborn to live life joyfully with Diabetes.

You will be happy to know that Project has been decided by National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh to extent this
programme not only in Gestational Diabetes but in Diabetes as a whole in 28 Districts, for which our Organization has been
made the Technical and Partner organization to implement this Programme in Uttar Pradesh covering 28 Districts from Oct,
2016, the training of 3000 Doctors and 6000 Nurses in the state supported by World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark.

As you are aware, Diabetes is Life threatening condition and developing country as our , Its prevalence 7% and Pre-
diabetes 12%. We need more awareness so that Diabetes can be prevented by lifestyle modification including healthy food and
Walking 10,000 steps every day. Therefore this year we propose to Organise “Global Diabetes walk” Programme with
National Health Mission and Ministry of health & Family Welfare,UP in all the Districts. You are requested to be our
Collaborating Partner in organising this Global Event on 14 November (Monday) 2016 in All Districts of Uttar Pradesh.

As you are our Ambassador of Diabetes. “Global Diabetes Walk” is Global Activity propagated by World Diabetes
Foundation, Denmark since 10 years, already Global Diabetes Walk is being organised around 106 countries every year.

We kindly request you to be Our Partner in Organization of Global Diabetes Walk on the World Diabetes day on 14 th November-
16 in lucknow at Babu singh Stadium.
