Coromandel International Ltd is an Indian corporation founded in the early 1960s by

IMC and chevron companies of USA ,originally named corromandelfertilizers.The
company is in the business of fertilizers, pesticides and specially nutrients. The
company is also in rural retail business is the state of Andhra Pradesh through its
managromor centres.

Coromandel International is a subsidiary of both the Murugappa group and EID Parry
which holds 62.82% of the Equity in the company.

The company has 8 manufacturing units located in the states Andhra Pradesh,Tamil
Nadu, Maharashtra,Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir.

cropping and farming systems.

In the beginning, Durand preplanned for produce 7000 sq metre of aluminium forms
annually but now Durand planning for 14000 sq metre production of aluminium forms
annually, In the beginning of production small organization marked for company and
now Durand control big management systems on an every departments, These are the

building. Durand design is totally western types of USA and now we as an Indian
using for construction of buildings.

Coromandel has manufacturing facilities in sarigam Industrial estate near Vapi

(Gujarat) and manufactures about 25000 MT technical and formulations which
represent about 30% of permissions available with the company.

Coromandel is currently implementing a SEZ project in Dahej,Gujarat for

manufacture synthetic pyrethroids which have very good export potential.

working in sarigam unit near vapi manufacturing fertilizers.

As a Murugappa the group owned Coromandel International Ltd founded in 1990 , is

an conglomerate founded managed and largely owned by Murugappa family. The
group has 28 businesses including 11 listed companies traded on the national stock
exchange of India and bombay stock exchange headquartered in Chennai.
6. LIMITATION OF STUDY

 Durand Forms India Ltd is a manufacturing plant of aluminium forms and MS

props used in construction of big building projects, which may sometimes gives
loss to company .As per as demand of building and real states ,the
manufacturing of aluminium forms increases otherwise it may decreases due to
deficit on constructions of buildings.Durand faced some deficit regarding
finance for sometimes, after that the management decided alternate plan to
increase sustain performance .

 Coromandel International Ltd is manufacturing plant of chemical fertilizers and

pesticides which is helpful for growing crops and farming uses, sometimes it
may harmful for environment and ecosystem, Coromandel faced this types of
problems related environment because Coromandel not only produce hazardous
chemical they also exhaust or release harzardous waste gas to our environment
which is very harmfull for all, So many health related issues creates which also
effects the usage of pesticides and sale diminized causes deficit in profit.
7. CONCLUSION:-
The small industrial visit to Durand Forms India Pvt Ltd Sarigam and Coromandel
International Ltd .My visit about how an organization is run successfully their
inventory management and budgetary system. The small visit is highly educational
and helped on to given me an depth understanding about Industrial Inventory and
Budgets of both the company. I came to know about the process used for maintaining
Inventory and Budget system of both the company and different types of problem
encountered in it. I understood the difficulties that are faced by management of
Modern companies.

Durand Forms India Pvt Ltd and Coromandel International Ltd both the companies
are reputed registered plant on Gujarat sarigam -396155. If we correct some
management regarding Inventory and Budget error , Both of the companies would
grow fast as well as develop with systematic record with efficient inventory and
budgets.
