Last update: As a reminder, our engineers have identified that at least one of your servers is using
an earlier version of Azure Backup agent, which relies on the Access Control services
to back up servers to one or more Recovery Services vault(s) in your subscription.
Installations of Azure Backup agent lower than version 2.0.9083.0 rely on features of
the Access Control service which will be deprecated by early April 2018 as announced
previously. To continue uninterrupted Azure Backup services, please take action to
review your servers and update the Azure Backup Agent to version 2.0.9083.0 or
newer before February 15, 2018. Note that after this date, Azure backup agents lower
than version 2.0.9083.0 may experience backup and restore failures. For detailed
guidance on updating your Azure Backup Agent instances, please follow the steps
listed here: https://aka.ms/UpdateAzBackup . If you have already taken action to
update your instances of Azure Backup Agent to version 2.0.9083.0, no further action
is needed.
