Writing
Read and identify the adverbs and
adjectives.
Last night was terribly long. Our car broke down in the middle
of a heavy rainstorm, about 5 miles short of where we were
meant to be staying. Luckily a motorist who was passing by,
about 20 minutes later, kindly offered to give us a ride to our,
annoyingly difficult to find, hotel. Upon arriving, the distracted
receptionist gave us a key for our room, which turned out to
be the wrong key! We headed back down the winding staircase
and after five minutes of confusion received the correct key. By
this point it was 2 am, and I was utterly exhausted.
