Abstract

Currently, many merchants of meatball are found

big scale traders are as is many as the small traders. But in
the process of making meatballs there are three kinds of
machines are used. There are grinder machine, mixer
machine and former machine. The use of those machine are
separation therefore are very inefficient.
Therefore, the authors want to design a meat ball
mixer and former is driven by a single electric motor. So
hopefully a more efficient in processing of meat balls and so
more efficient of power if it is compared to separated
machine.
The results of designing and calculation of the
former power 0,0026 HP and rotation 130 rpm. So all mixer
and former machine take power 0,5 HP, rotation 1400 rpm
and capacity 0,43 kg/minute meatballs.
