Subject: Application for the Post of Assistant Manager Geology

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for the position of Assistant Manager Geology. I have

completed BS (Hons) Geology, from University of Sargodha, Pakistan. With a one
and half year experience, I have developed strong interpretations/analytical skills
that have enabled me to evaluate and monitor Geotechnical and Construction
activities being carried out by Client/Contractor.

Currently, I am working as Geologist/Geotechnical in Geo Crust Islamabad since

September, 2015. My Major responsibilities in Geo Crust Islamabad to process and
Monitor field activities include soil borings, groundwater well installations, collecting
soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment samples as well as preparing Bore
logs, Perform In-situ test (SPT,FDT,CPT,PLT) according to international rules and
procedures, prepare Geotechnical reports by analyzing the field and laboratory
results of soil.

Earlier I have spent more than 1 month in Reservoir Management department

of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) as Internee.

Since I am involved in Geo Crust office as Geologist and have accordingly gained
practical experience of statistical analysis of data and work with Excel and AutoCad.
I strongly believe that my addition to the Geologist team of Infrastructure
Development Authority Punjab will have positive impact in term of my contribution.
