Beard: Based with VGC Parasite Brown mixed with VMC Beige Brown, then gradually thinning the base by adding VGC Bonewhite. Shaded with VGC Dark Fleshtone and Charred Brown washes.
Highlighted the brightest parts of the beard with pure Bonewhite. The helmet is painted with the same colours as the coat of mail.
The handle of the ax is based with P3 Hammerfall Khaki, then ribs drawn with P3 Thornwood Green & VMC Brown Violet mixed with Menoth White. Washes of VGC Cayman Green & Cobra Leather give a bit
of color and depth. The axeblade is painted with the same colors as the mail and helmet. The Helmet’s feathers are painted with the same colours as the sheild, described below.
Sheild: The metal is painted with Greatcoat Gray, while the bottom receives several diluted layers of P3 Sanguine Base mixed with VMC Black Red. This dark red is gradually lightened with a mixture
of P3 Khador Red, Sanguine Base and Sanguine Highlight, and finally Dwarf Skin. For the shadows, a mix of Black Red & VGC Scurvey Green, finishing with pure Scurvey Green.
For the shield motiif A black ax is painted on freehand.
Dirt is made with bits of crushed pastel crushed and drybrushed on. And we’re done.
