Subject Matter: Plants and Animals in the Environment

Skill/Competencies: I come-up with this product for the students to understand the function of plants
and animals in the environment. The students would then be able to:

a. easily discuss the importance of both plants and animals in the environment.
b. clarify the knowledge, they have about the relationship of plants and animals in the
environment
c. appreciate God’s creation particularly nature’s beauty, desirable values such as
respect for life, care for nature and the environment.

Description of the Product: It is a diagram of the Energy cycle that is made of Cartolinas, Cottons,
Popsicle Sticks… It shows the relationship of plants and animals in the environment. The plants give life
to the animals by producing oxygen and food for the animals which then gives off carbon dioxide which
is needed for the photosynthesis of plants.

Procedures: 1.) Prepare the materials needed: Cartolinas, Glue, Cotton, Scissor, Popsicle sticks, mini
Animal and Plants plastic models, and Coloring materials.

2.) Cut the cartolina into half
