Profile:
I have done my primary research in the field of adaptation studies with special focus on film
adaptations of the novels written by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala. During my research I have tried to
understand how the narrative changes during the process of adaptation. I am also interested in
exploring further dimensions of the relationship between literature and cinema.
Besides, I am a translator. I have translated two books of Hindi poetry into English. Presently, I
am translating Punjabi poetry into English.
