 Expand more on your independent tasks, give an example in one of your arguments. Lack of
elaboration and specificity will result in a low score for these two tasks.
 In task 3, you’ve not understood very well the topic: increase in the bus fare (U-Pass) because of
the increase in ridership (=too many students use it) but also expand their service by adding fuel
efficient buses. Also when you say that the students will benefit from the change, is too general!
You need to be specific (improve the night service) and demonstrate enough development in
your ideas.
 In task 4 you miss the development and specificity as well! Being adopted – no knowledge of
biological family (historical element question); you also misunderstood the 2 nd point: be reluctant
to discuss gender specific problems with a doctor of the opposite sex
 Task 6 is not very good. Although you present some of the main ideas you don’t explain how this
machine aids in diagnosis, you simply describe its characteristics and results in general. You
should have focused in the second part of the talk where it talked about its application in trauma
centres
