PROFILE

Mr. Shehzad Haider is an old hand in the legal profession. After graduation in
law from the University of Punjab in 1995, he was admitted to the Lahore District
Bar in 1996 and to the Lahore High Court Bar in 1998. He is now due to obtain
his license to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Mr. Haider had the opportunity to
work for some of the best law chambers in Pakistan before joining ABS & Co. in
2011. He has assisted renowned lawyers of the country in various cause celebre.
His diverse experience includes tax, corporate, regulatory, mediation, arbitration
and constitutional matters. He has experience in advising clients, drafting and
litigation. The institutions he has advised include banks, industrial entities,
multinationals and government bodies. Some of the reported cases in which Mr.
Haider assisted the lead Counsel are PLD 1999 SC 57, 2000 SCMR 567, PLD 2001
SC 607, PLD 2002 SC 1048, PLD 2010 SC 265, PLD 2013 SC 641.
