structures. We pass this on to our clients and provide a dedicated point of contact for all your

We believe in complete transparency, which is why we tell you about everything we do. This

includes how we are remunerated. Unlike some banks, financial advisers or stockbrokers we don’t

accept high upfront commissions or ‘over manage’ your account.

This means you simply pay a monthly fee, or if greater, 1% p.a. of the value of the assets for which

AES provides advice. This method of remuneration is highly competitive, aiming to simply cover

our costs and make a small transparent profit, rather than pay sales bonuses like many businesses.

When we invest your money into our model portfolios of funds via a preferred investment platform

we will not make any additional charge. To put this into perspective – a typical High Street

commission for an investment of £100,000 can be as much as £7,000! This is further testimony of

our ‘low fee, high growth’ approach to Total Wealth Management.

Whether our role is to manage your investments, increase the tax-efficiency of your finances,

advise on retirement, make sure you are getting the most out of your capital, help you decide what

is important to you in life, or a combination of the above – it is up to you to decide whether you

get value for money. We work on the concept of mutual profitability and if we don’t feel that our

services offer you this value, we will let you know.

We offer a range of financial planning and wealth management services to help our clients improve their financial future.

The three stages are called:

Foundation

Evolution

Premier

Each level is fee based which means that our charges are completely transparent, our advice totally impartial and assures

your Private Client Adviser is motivated to work for your long term benefit. Our service levels have fee structures to suit each

individual, with Foundation service fees starting from £50 per month. Your Financial Planner will discuss our fees with you in

more detail during your complimentary initial meeting.

FOUNDATION

Foundation Wealth Management is designed as an entry level service. A typical Foundation client earns in excess of £50,000 pa

and is beginning to think about the need to coherently structure and plan their financial future.

In our experience, many intelligent, highly paid individuals do not fully appreciate the value of the financial benefits they are

being offered through work. The first port of call would therefore be to review existing arrangements and structure their

finances in the most efficient and cost effective way possible.

EVOLUTION

The second service level, Evolution Wealth Management is designed for the majority of aspiring high net worth individuals.

Clients receive a high-quality strategic financial planning service and regulated investment advice with specific emphasis on the

accumulation and effective management of capital.

A ‘typical’ Evolution client is likely to have a high income and/or assets available for investment of at least £200,000 excluding

the main residence. Such a client could be a family with a successful main earner or have accumulated a lump sum. Evolution

clients are likely to be ‘time poor’ and will expect an adviser who can organise their financial affairs efficiently and professionally.

To facilitate this service we will usually make use of revolutionary developments in technology, which allow you to see your

entire finances in one place.

PREMIER

Through our top tier Premier Wealth Management program, clients access all our services to save them time, make them money

and put their needs first. There is no typical Premier client but a common thread which unites the majority is a lifestyle of some

intricacy, involving wide-ranging personal and professional commitments and, in many cases substantial travel. The only pre-

requisite is that they have invested assets in excess of £1,000,000 or a sufficiently high level of income to merit this exceptional

level of service. For many clients, we expect that the primary objective will be to maintain and maximise income, mitigate tax

and to receive the highest level of advice and service available.

We invest a significant amount of our time understanding you, what drives you, your objectives and current

financial position, and what your future looks like. This process gives you the opportunity to achieve your

objectives and aspirations.

Stage 1: Current Position
The starting point is to create a profile of you, covering your personal circumstances, current financial situation and how you

arrived there. The more detail the better, because the clearer this picture of you and your finances, the clearer the starting

point on our journey.

Stage 2: Personal Goals


The second stage is to clarify where you want to go, your objectives, concerns and aspirations as well as your attitude to

investment and other associated risk. This is especially important, as it will be critical to the investment portfolio construction,

a key aspect of your Personal Financial Plan.

Stage 3: Analysis
The third stage is to analyse your current position and consider your objectives to determine the ‘gap’ between your goal

and the reality. This ‘Gap Analysis’ will enable us to clearly understand the journey you will need to travel in order to achieve

your targets.

Stage 4: Financial Plan


Stage four involves the creation of a roadmap or journey plan, which communicates the most efficient route from A to C. This

roadmap is your Personal Financial Plan. It will analyse your financial arrangements and make recommendations as to how

your existing finances can be utilised. This will cover your assets, investments, liabilities and income. The way in which you

spend your money is also a vital aspect of the analysis. Therefore, a review of your expenditure, in both the short-term and

over the long-term will help to establish how robust the overall financial plan is. The plan will identify the cost of achieving

your objectives, your financial independence and plan for any unforeseen events which may arise.

Stage 5: Implementation
The fifth stage of the process is to implement the plan. This stage includes an action plan and, if appropriate, an investment

strategy document - both of which will be provided once we have agreed the plan.

Stage 6: Review
The final stage is to regularly review the plan and make modifications where required. Reviews should take place at least

annually, but can be more frequent if required. The overall aim of the financial planning process is to help you reach your

financial goals and develop or maintain your desired lifestyle, in the most efficient way possible. Financial planning gives

consideration to strategies for the creation, distribution or protection of wealth specifically to meet your financial objectives.
