2. ICOW, the above stated subject and reference, please be informed the

render duty as Criminology Intern. During the duration of the internship from
11 January 2018, activities participated are as follows:

a. 11 January 2018
It was first day at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. We
enter the establishment altogether since it was our first day. After ensuring
that all interns have arrived, including the interns from San Jorge Campus, we
were instructed by JO1 Eraya to form and account. Then, we were
designated to different posts. I was posted at Post 1, which is the receiving
area. At around 1000H, J/Insp. Ferdinand Toreno instructed us to form. He
then briefly discussed the do’s and don’ts. On or about 1100H, we already
had our lunch break because visitors will already be allowed to enter by
1200H. Visitors who enter the establishment will be body checked and also
their baggage. We also remind the visitors to use transparent plastic wares so
that there is no need for us to poke (using forks) or check the food they bring.

b. 12 January 2018
I was assigned at Post 2 which is a nipa hut at the top of the key man
building with my co-interns Angela Cayunda, Aiko Corazon Ducay, Joan Dela
Peña, Felix Andecio Jr. and Frietzdale Luaton. At about 0910H, we, the
interns from Main Campus together with the other interns from San Jorge
were called to the Admin Office for a values reformation activity which was a
bible sharing conducted by JO1 Emil Etos. At about 1030H, we were back at
Post 2 with JO1 Marjon Eraya. He taught us to dismantle and assemble an
M16. At about 1230H, JO1 Kim Versoza called me and my buddies, Angela
Cayunda, Joan Dela Peña and Aiko Corazon Ducay to their barracks. He also
taught us how to dismantle and assemble a 9mm handgun.
c. 15 January 2018
At about 0830H, I and my buddy Aiko Corazon Ducay were escorts to
a court vistawith JO3 Joey Abia and JO1 Ryan Sobayno. At about 1225H, we
were back at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. At about 1425H,
J/Insp. Ferdinand Toreno conducted a lecture about what Bureau of Jail
Management and Penology is all about. He also asked us one by one about
what we already have learned or observed during our 1 st and 2nd day at their
agency. The discussion ended on or about 1600H.

d. 16 January 2018
At about 0815H, I was posted at Post 1, particularly at the front desk.
My task was to log in the visitors of the residents. At about 1409H, I was an
escort to a court vista together with Joan Dela Peña and two other interns
from San Jorge Campus. We were back at the Bureau of Jail Management
and Penology on or about 1725H.

e. 17 January 2018
At about 0830H, I arrived at the Bureau of Jial Management and
Penology. I arrived late because of the heavy rain and I can’t get a ride. I was
assigned at the tree house together with Aiko Corazon Ducay and Joan Dela
Peña.

f. 18 January 2018
On or about 0900H, I was in the Admin Office and was under
instruction by Jail Officers to help them enter their datas in their personal data
sheets.

g. 19 January 2018
During our last day at the BJMP, I and my buddy Angela Cayunda
were still under instructions by JO1 Boren to enter the residents’ informations
like their names, case and case number, their date of confinement and date
of release or transfer. On or about 1500H, I was given a checklist of the
application requirements by JO1 Boren just in case I decide to apply as a jail
officer.
