Who we are and
what do we stand for

What do we do?
We live in a world of constant change; technology, industries and
people are persistently evolving. With that in mind, we believe
that the pathway to results no longer is as we may have thought
to be in the traditional framework. That’s why we introduce you
ETTC.

As our name suggests, we are an English Tests Training Centre

and, as such, we focus on preparing our clients for the IELTS and
PTE tests in all aspects: knowledge, body and mind.

About the
English Tests
PTE

The PTE test is a computer-based assessment which aims at

assessing the candidate’s abilities with the English language in all
four components (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Each
candidate shall receive an individual mark for each area assessed
and such marks range from 10-90.

As a three hour long test, the PTE assessment is conducted in

specific venues and the results are published online within 5
calendar days after the test date.

IELTS

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test is a

standardised English assessment which serves as evidence of the
level of English proficiency of its candidates. The IELTS test has
been in place for more than 20 years and has been developed by
several specialists in linguistic evaluation.

As an overall assessment, the IELTS test measures candidate’s

abilities in speaking, listening, reading and writing and awards
distinct marks for each one of these components as well as an
overall mark ranging from 1 – 9.

Despite being a standardised English test, the IELTS test possesses

two distinct modules; General and Academic. General IELTS
is intended for candidates who seek results for a wide range of
purposes.

Alternatively, the Academic IELTS test is intended for all of those

wishing to commence any form of secondary education as well as
for those who wish to meet the criteria for the approval of various
Australian Visas.

In traditional ways of training, we have been

taught the idea that, in order to achieve our goals,
we must follow a simple rule: know how to achieve them;
know who can help us to achieve them; and, finally,
know why we must achieve them in that way.
Often, we are caught in this illusion of efficiency,
but, at ETTC, we try to reverse this rule.

Here, we will encourage you first to establish

why you must achieve your goal and the results you seek.
After knowing precisely the reasons that
motivate your training, we will ask you to identify those that will
be benefited by your results and those who will
help and support you along the way (here, you will find a wide
range of professionals who will work with you).
Finally, we will ask you to work with us
on how to achieve your results through
our new training concept.

In class, you will experience an innovative and interactive way

of training where listening, speaking, reading and writing will
be practiced in a manner that is fully reflective of our modern
world’s technological way of living. We are proud to bring to

will certainly enhance your chances of succeeding at your English
test as it will facilitate your understanding of each assessment.

system will help you vastly during your experience with us.

In regards to English tests which, after all, are our common

objective, we would like to help you to see them as steps in your
