DO YOU THINK BLENDED LEARNING APPLICATION CAN REPLACE FACE TO
FACE IN CLASSROOM. IF YES EXPLAIN, ELABORATE AND GIVE EXAMPLES. IF
NO EXPLAIN, ELABORATE AND GIVE EXAMPLES IN NOT LESS THAN 2 PAGES.

Nowadays in this era of globalisation, blended learning is one of the application of


learning process that mostly teachers or lecturer use to teach or give all knowledge compare
to previous time which is learning process in face to face in classroom whether at university
or now also at school. In my opinion, im not agree with this statement that says blended
learning application can replace face to face learning process in classroom.

Why? I can says like that because for me face to face learning process is more have
their benefit to students or teachers compare to blended learning application process. Benefits
to the students when have face to face in classroom are students can ask the questions or ask
to teachers what students not understands about the topic on the spot in front of them and
teachers can help them on the spot or directly at the classroom. For example in mathematics
subject, most students will have their problems to understand the calculation to solve the
issues from the questions especially for the last class. From that teachers on the spot can help
them and teach them until the students can solve the calculation after their understand from
the helping from teachers.

After that, students will more understands and easy to students to memorize what they
teachers have done teach to them and can recall back when they have quiz or recall back
when exam. Students in good memory can help them to answers the question when exam
through they recall back what the teachers teach them at classroom and recall what the
teachers have explain about the topic. With face to face learning process in classroom also
can help students to share their idea with all friend and teachers. From that we can see the
good skill from your students that can speak and give opinion about the topic that was discuss
in classroom and maybe can representative they school to participant in debate or speech
events. Then, from this process learning also can make the relationship or bonding with
others peoples more closely. The relationship occurs not only between friends with their
peers but also students can closely to their teachers at classroom so that students more
comfortable to learning and the teachers more comfortable to teach their students. From that
we can see the relationship among them like family in school or in classroom.
Other than that, from this face to face learning process in classroom can give student
to explore this world not only stay at they home and do not know each others people in they
environment even at the same age, can not enjoy they school life with many friends of
different races and religions. From that also we can see many behaviours of our friends at
school especially in classroom that have friends in good behaviour and also have friends with
bad behaviour. For examples, necessarily multifaceted students in classroom like have
students is quiet, students that naughty like disturb their friends especially boys that like to
disturb girl in classroom, have students just like to reading when their have no teachers in
school, have students that like to sleep whether their have teachers teach in that class or not.

Besides, from face to face learning process in classroom also can improve the teachers
skill of teaching in classroom so that the students can more easy to understand what the
teachers want to teach and also the teachers can improve they skill on creativity on how to
attract students to interesting to the teachers activity based on the topic that he or she want to
teach at classroom. In addition, the benefits for students when face to face learning process
in classroom is they timetable for activity in 1 day or 1 week more systematic. For examples
in 1 week they have time for student to study generally 5 days out of 7 days in 1 weeks
compare to blended learning that have only specific time to learning and have more disturb
from others sources. For examples when you have blended learning you will have others
thing to do when you do any blended learning in online and lost your focus on study like
facebook, after that watch youtube and so on so to do your assignment that your lecturer give
must spend more time and waste your time.

Last but not least, in face to face learning process have 2 ways communication will
occurs compare to blended learning that only 1 ways communication. For blended learning,
when students does not understands any subtopic they will search at google for more
explaination but something more difficult to understands and more confuse that the info at
google true or not compare to faces to faces in classroom that directly can ask to teachers so
teachers can explain directly until you can understands. Lastly, when you see at physical
education subject you can think how the students can understand what teachers want to teach
because for this subject students must do their activity and more practise so that students will
learns and more understands. For examples when teacher want to teach skill in football, so
students must practise to improve their skill so that in other side teacher will choose them to
represent football for students school compare to blended learning that only teach them only
from the technology like watch skill football in youtube.
POINTS FACE TO FACE IN CLASSROOM CAN’T REPLACE WITH BLENDED
LEARNING APPLICATION IN LEARNING PROCESS:

1. Students can ask question

 Students can ask question to teachers or their peers in class what students not
understand about the topic directly in front of them.

2. Teacher can help students directly in class

 Teachers help them directly until the students can solve the problem after their
understand when helping from teachers for example calculation that was hard in
mathematic subject.

3. Students more understand and easy to memorize

 Students will more understand and easy to memorize what they have done learn in
class and can recall back the knowledge when quiz or exam. Memorize back what
teachers have explain in class.

4. Help students to share idea

 Students can share their idea or information to all friends and teachers what their think
in mind have relationship with topic that was learn in class.

5. Students have good skill

 Students can speak and give opinion about the topic that was discuss like HOTS
question and maybe can represent they school for debate or speech.

6. Relationship more closely

 Relationship or bonding with all people more closely or strong. The relationship not
only between friend with they peers but also between student and teachers like family
bonding.

7. Give student explore this world

 Student not only stay at home and do not know each other in they environment even
same age.
8. Enjoy school life

 Students will have many friends of different races and religions that also can see the
different behaviour of they friends which is have good or bad attitude and not bored at
home when go to school.

9. Improve teaching skill

 Teachers will improve they teaching skill so that student more easy to understand
what teacher want to teach.

10. Creativity in teaching

 Teachers can improve they skill on creativity on how to attract student to interested
with the activity that teachers do based on the topic.

11. Timetable life more systematic

 In 1 week student will learn 5 out of 7 days to get knowledge in many thing compare
to blended learning that only have specific time to learn and more disturb from other
source like facebook.

12. 2 way communication

 Students will communicate to their friend and also communication with their teachers
in 2 ways communication. When students does not understands any subtopic they will
search at google for more explaination but something more difficult to understands
and more confuse that the info at google true or not compare to faces to faces in
classroom that directly can ask to teachers so teachers can explain directly until you
can understands.

13. More practice

 Like teach football in physical education, students must practise to improve their skill
so that in other side teacher will choose them to represent football for students school
compare to blended learning that only teach them only from the technology like watch
skill football in youtube.
